List of Nana Mireku's Reviews
Dr. Mireku did an amazing job! As a first time mom of a 14 m/o she answered all of my questions and provided my daughter with exactly what she needed. She and the nurse were very equipped and did their jobs perfectly. Thank you!
Dr. Mireku is simply awesome! She always makes time to listen and provides very logical recommendations and a clear plan of action. Dr. Mireku is excellent at diagnosis and exhibits great skill and knowledge. Would highly recommend her.
My son didn’t miss much schooling this year. Was able to participate in basketball. Thanks Do
I booked an appointment days in advance on Zocdoc for a video consultation, and I was told that Nana Mireku and/or her team would send me an email with instructions for my video consultation. I was extremely excited to see this MD but I was never contacted by her or anyone at her office regarding my appointment and when reached out via phone no one ever answered and I called multiple times on different days! The day of my appointment came and I still hadn't heard anything from anyone regarding my appointment. I'm astonished by the fact that there was NO communication at all. NONE.
Professional and caring! Nurse Meredith is amazing. I appreciate all of you. Thank you for taking care of me.
As a long time patient of Dr. Mireku’s, I highly recommend her! I’ve referred family and friends because of the tremendous confidence I have in her. In fact, my daughter is seeing her now for her nut allergy. If you’re seeking a new physician for your allergies, don’t hesitate to go to Dr. Mireku!
Dr. Mireku is one of the best in her field. She is very proficient, professional and kind. In one visit she was able to see my pain and misery and put me on the right track to a happier and healthier life. I'm thankful that I found her and the amazing people at the Family Allergy & Asthma Care Clinic. They truly work hard to make a difference and they're superseding, in my opinion.
We started off great with Dr. Mireku, but after more than two years of seeing Dr. Mireku, we had to find a new Dr. She started out amazing. But customer service and patient care went from outstanding to deplorable. She migrated her business to Aspire Allergy & Sinus, that's a big part of the issue, but it's more than that. For starters, Dr. Mireku is only in office 2 or 3 days per week. Actually speaking with her or getting her assistance is extremely difficult. She has a PA named Amy that virtually runs the business. Amy does not put the patient first and doesn't really seem to care about the business. Update: We had to return to Dr. Mireku to get a new vial of serum. After a year things have actually gotten even worse. It's still impossible to contact Dr. Mireku and now even speaking with someone in her office is a challenge. Our new Dr office had multiple unreturned calls. I finally had to step in and call myself...multiple times. When you call most of the time you'll get an answering service that can't even transfer you, they'll only take a message and pass it on. Occasionally you will reach a call center in Austin that can transfer you, but the office rarely answers the phone. Original comment from Sept 5th, 2019: We arrived at 4:18 pm for a 4:15 pm standard monthly shot appointment and we were turned away. We while we were in route to let them know we were running "a little behind". They said a few minutes wouldn't be an issue. The most frustrating part is that the entire staff exited the building behind us. It wasn't that we were late...it was that as the last patient of the day, they got to leave the office early by turning us away. The office was being run by a PA named Amy. We spoke with Amy and her staff trying to sort things out. It was VERY apparent Amy has very little bedside manner and doesn't really care about her patients. I understand being significantly late and turning someone away. But it was literally 3 minutes past our appointment time AND we called ahead to verify and they told us no problem.
Very unprofessional. We scheduled an appointment several months ahead of time for the Monday before thanksgiving. About a week and a half prior, I was notified that the appointment needed to be rescheduled. I came to find out the doctor would not be in the office that whole holiday week - as in, she just decided to cancel for her own convenience for the whole holiday week. Not reliable. Will never go to this doctor.
I first went to Dr. Mireku in June 2017 and in the past 10 months she has improved my health significantly. I’ve had asthma and allergy issues all of my life, generally getting sick 3 to 5 times a year. Thanks to Dr. Mireku, I’ve not been sick in 9 months. If you’re struggling with asthma or frequent allergy issues or frequent sinus infections she can help you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
