Had a great experience at this urgent care. We were in and out in no time and the entire team was very friendly and pleasant from check in to check out. We even showed up to the wrong location and they transferred our appointment from the other Children’s PM without hesitation. Will definitely go back should we have needs for after hours care.Update 12/27/20: Had to remove a star. I had to come back here for a different child today and unfortunately it wasn’t as perfect as the last time. A prescription was “sent” to the pharmacy only to have been never sent at all. When I called back to follow up I was told they were having “issues” with some not going through. I know for sure that was not true because as soon as they “re-sent” it I received a text that a prescription was sent. I killed time for an hour so the pharmacy could fill it which ended up being a waste as I had to then wait again for the pharmacy to actually fill it once it was actually received-plus the pharmacy was closing early since it was Sunday. I just wish places had more follow through these days and/or were honest when making a mistake.
Appointment was at 3:20pm; checked in at 3:16pm; now it is 5:10 pm. What is the point of appointment time if it cannot be honored? Walk ins are getting in before us. They have been telling only one person ahead of us for last one hour.
This urgent care is our go to in the evening hours. My child was seen by Dr. Pruden and he took great attention to detail with our concerns and gave us excellent care. My son did very well with his treatment. The nursing staff is also excellent. Highly recommended!
My husband took our four month old son to this location because he had a fever and what we now know is a hernia. My husband checked in and went to wait in his truck. After two hours he went back inside to ask if he was still in the queue. The person at the desk said they tried calling him three times, he asked what number they called and she couldn’t tell him.My husband waited inside after this and was finally seen. When our son was hooked up for vitals the tech said his heart was racing and he’d never seen a heart rate that high so he was going to get the doctor. The doctor came in, looked at our son, told my husband he could put his diaper back on (it was undone so they could see the hernia) and said he would be fine if we just give him Tylenol. My husband pointed to the hernia and said that was the reason he was there (which he told them when he checked in initially and obviously why our son’s diaper was undone). The doctor looked at it and said oh, you need to take him to the hospital to get that looked at.Terrible service and a doctor who was clearly not reading charts or notes and was too busy to properly look at our son. Thank god Children’s in Plano was able to get him seen quickly. We chose this urgent care based on reviews, so I felt the need to share our experience in case other are going off of reviews as well.
Take my kid there, lazy doctor and front desk team decide close urgent care and not do their job. Close facility and go home.
Fast and easy check in. Staff wasn’t very friendly. The NP was friendly. The only thing upsetting was that they did not take any vital signs yet it was charted on my visit summary. Good thing I’m a nurse so it wasn’t a big deal because I take them at home. But for others that’s very unprofessional and wrong.
Horrible experience we had with very unprofessional desk staff! They told us they sent our prescription to the pharmacy! I went to Pharmacy but they stated that they’ve never received it! I called them to ask to send it out, but nobody answered the phone! I had to come back by person to the urgent care and asked them to send it please!! The desk verified the Pharmacy address again and told me “It is JUST SENT”!!When I arrived to the Pharmacy, they told me they have not received it yet! From 7:30 to 8:00 PM, I was trying ti call them but nobody answered the phone again!! I had to comeback again to the urgent care by person and they told me “We have not sent it yet because we were not sure about the address of pharmacy!!!” Come on!!! Are you kidding me!!!??? You confirmed it twice that you’ve sent it!!! Plus If you are not sure about the pharmacy, why you did not confirm and finalize it during the checking process…!! This is what I always call it as a “not-responsibility” feeling from a staff/facility!!!
Not tecommended!!! they didn’t send priscription to the pharmacy for scond time!!! they not care about patient just cherging them
Worst UC experience ever! We walked in last night coz my 5 years old daughter was having a fever at 105 and body ache, told us we didn’t have an appointment and the system was broken, made us wait for more than 1 Hour in lobby. They refused to offer us Motrin while waiting, I had to go out and get it from a CVS. And while I was out, my daughter threw up in the lobby on my wife and herself, no one cared or offered any helps still. Go somewhere else if what you need is “urgent” care.
I took my 2 yr son and honestly I was given great refrences by other moms of this location that why I took my baby in.We went because he has been having fevers for 24hrs. I was not recommended to test him for anything i actually I requested it myself. The paramedic was so forceful in pulling his arms back to get a nose and swab test I had to stop her. She skeezed his cheeks as so rough and hard to have him take a Tylenol dose he screened like I never heard him scream and cry. I can't believe she thought her method was ok and safe after I had told her he had a coller bone broken 6 mo ago.. Also the nurse practitioner was using the stick to check in the back of his throat so rough i thought she was going to break his teeth. I know children resist but their are different ways to make a child comfortable. I will never take my son here again. They couldn't even check him to see if he had the flu even though I asked them. It's an Urgent Care and it's flus eason why aren't they offering to test .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
