Renee Chan's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Chan is very discriminating and does not care for her patients. I’ve waited for over two months now on my results and she has never contacted me with the results. I have called every day to ask for my results and asked to speak to her and was told my lab results got lost. I spoke to clinic manger and have put in a complaint against Dr. Chan. Today, I received a phone call saying Dr. Chan has terminated me from seeing her in the clinic with no reasons. I have still not received my results and have already paid for my service. This is unacceptable! This doctor does not care for her patients health nor does she does proper patient treatment.

She is so nice and caring she made me feel good about my needs.

She is great and she is so nice please use her as your obgyn doctor

THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR PAYCHECK AND THAT IS IT! Better off going to minute clinic and asking for advice there. Plus if you have any private information, everyone around you will know it.

We moved, been searching for a new OB/GYN that was closer, appeared to have good reviews. From my visit/experience, the nurse had a dismissive “I’m just here to get paid attitude”. Dr. Renee Chan was SARCASTIC, used a CONDESCENDING tone, and annoyed when voicing my health issues. This was at EOB, she stepped out of the exam room and complained about how she’s unable to order a prescription, make copies of my paperwork, and how the appointment ran longer than expected. New one though, what it appeared a male doctor piped up and told her she needs to lose the —DEAD WEIGHT—in there. New one for me, not only calling a patient dead weight is dehumanizing, it also sets the tone that you’re worthless. I basically walked out when the dismissive nurse came back to give my paper copies back. I was sad and depressed when I left... how the hell are y’all in the medical field and get away with calling a patient dead weight. Glad I was raised better than that. I disagree with the good reviews as they did a disservice, will never recommend or go back. See for yourself.

Dr. Chan is professional, knowledgeable and caring. She listens to me and does not treat me as a statistical number or numeric value of a lab result. She takes the time to answer all of my questions. She informs me of my choices and of her own knowledgeable opinion/advice. I’m so thankful I found Dr. Chan! An incredible doctor that sees me as an individual. I know she truly cares about my health and well being. Now that’s how you practice medicine! Thank you Dr. Chan 😊

We love Dr. Chan and the entire folks at Comprehensive OBGYN. She is very sweet, gentle, calm and she actually takes time out to listen to you.

Dr. Chan is a wonderful doctor and person. She treats her patience very personably and is knowledgeable. She walks you through what to expect and is reassuring about things. Professional and real. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chan is an amazing doctor. She is smart, caring, empathetic and has a great bedside manner. She is quick to address issues or share information and always explains treatment plans in a way that is easy to understand and follow through on. Her office is beautiful, clean and well run. I highly recommend her and her staff to anyone who is looking for an obgyn to help them be an advocate and partner for them and their health.

Dr. Chan has been my Ob/Gyn for many years and all the way through pregnancy. Dr. Chan did not deliver my baby because I opted for a different hospital based on proximity and recommendations. I feel like she truly cares about my well being and she keeps things very honest, there's no sugar-coating. I never get the sense that she is too busy to truly listen to my concerns. There was one time I asked for my medical records and everything was made available to me hard copy. I had some issues and my neurologist and ENT needed to look at my history. I also had access to my medical records online. Now that they have expanded and relocated I am starting to feel like there is some small loss of the sense of "family". Appointments feel a bit rushed and there are times I'd like to see Dr. Chan but only the nurse is available. That's okay, I still share the details of my concerns but the appointments are not the same without her. Another plus is that I never have issues with billing...there are no forgotten bills that are sent later on.
