Just had my first-ever colonoscopy. At 58 I’ll admit I had my head in the sand, almost TOO long! Now I know my fears were completely unfounded. Dr Nayyar took good care of me, the worst part was the prep, the procedure was super easy! Since they did have to send a large something off to pathology I was afraid I’d stuck my head in the sand too long, but when we met for the results Dr Nayyar got the point right away, “No cancer”. No confusing medical terminology, just the answer I needed to hear. Then we discussed what I need to do to improve my health, perfectly clear. He was even understanding when emotions came out that I didn’t expect! I won’t be late to make my next appointment in a year to make sure all is good - very, very happy with this while experience!

1st visit with Dr. Nayyar was good. Staff is polite and professional. Dr. Nayyar listened to me and checked my reports from prior tests/doctors. He caught something my previous GI Dr failed to relay to me. Happy to say we now have a plan to fix my problem.

Dr.Sanjay Nayyar and staff are very professional and the nurses were extra nice and caring.The facility is very clean and accommodating.If I have to do another colonoscopy again I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this facility again and use Dr. Sanjay.

My experience with Dr. Nayyar was very positive, he discussed and explained issues in detail, and answered all of my questions.

I won't go into the details of everything that Dr. Nayyar did that was problematic, but the last straw was him sending me for the exact same genetic testing a second time and refusing to see me again until he got those results. The insurance rep laughed when I called to ask if that would even be covered. No, the generic test he sent me for would've be covered twice because those genes don't change with time. I tried to discuss that problem with the office and they would've budge. Now my surgeon wants me to see a different DHAT GI but but I'm not allowed to. They require special approval for you to change doctors, even though Nayyar won't see me without that redundant test and I've moved 2 hours away from his nearest office. DHAT and Dr. Nayyar have been making my life harder for five years and I'm done. You couldn't pay me to see Dr. Nayyar again and I'll go out of state and out of pocket before I'll see another DHAT doctor again.

Dr Nayyar us a member of GI Alliance. That means that those doctors (most of gastros in this county) have taken you freedom to choose. I was assigned to him when I was hospitalized. I never saw him in his office. I did not choose him. Now I'm having serious problems and need a gastro. He has to release me. This involves time and paperwork. It took a long time to get his "release." I then had to ask the OK be sent to a specific gastro who then has to "approve" taking my case. This takes more time. This is entrapment. This is not a reflection on Dr. N. It's a dangerous "club" to enhance physician income. I still have not seen a gastroenterologist.

Dr. Nayyar killed my sister. Go to any other doctor. My sister would be alive today if he was a good doctor.
