I like Dr. DeShazo a lot. I think she is a very good Dr. I had a billing issue and wanted to talk to the billing person. Every time I called, I got her voicemail, left messages asking for a call back. This went on for several months! She never called me back. My insurance company tried to call. They got the same results. Also, very difficult to get through to make an appt.

I took my adult, special needs son for his 1st visit w/Dr. Deshazo a couple wks ago. I found her to be caring, patient, thorough yet efficient. She established good rapport w/him & we look forward to continuing w/her as his G.P.

I read on the website that this doctor takes Medicaid and ppo insurances but I called the billing department and I came to find out this doctor does not take the Texas Star plus insurance that I am on when my insurance is not only Medicaid but it’s also a ppo insurance! That is false advertising! 👎

Dr. DeShazo is the best!! She may run late, but its because she gives her undivided attention and best possible care to every patient. I'd rather wait on a good doctor then be taken right back because they aren't busy, that should tell you something right there....why aren't they busy? I've been going to her for over 10 years, she is kind, compassionate and really knowledgeable. The front office personnel is very sweet she just gets busy and rushes sometimes but she is a genuinely sweet. You want an amazing doctor then Dr. DeShazo is that doctor
