List of Texas Health Surgery Center Craig Ranch's Reviews
Our G.P. Dr (Dr Juan Soto Lopez; btw, the absolute most outstanding general practitioner in the Dallas/ Frisco area) referred my wife to ‘pain management’ Specialist; Dr Jerry Lewis, Frisco location. After the initial and extensive paperwork, Dr Lewis did the local anesthesia plus steroid injection to my wife’s lumbar area L2,L3. 2 weeks later for follow up, we revealed to him she experienced about 8 days of relief. Should have been 3 months to 6 months or even up to a year, stated by Dr Lewis. Okay, 8 days relief. Of course he advised another ‘procedure’. Scheduled it for following Monday, 8:45, but at another facility: Texas Health Surgical Center. He id the same Dr., my wife is the same patient, but we had to go through the same long drawn out 22 pages of pre appointment paperwork (same as he has in his other office where we saw him first). Okay, filled it all out on line. Got to the new office, and was handed 12 pages to fill out, duplicates of what was filled out on line. But of course before paperwork, they want your cash; so called copayment. Front office staff here are competent, support staff in so called surgical center are competent, but as a Dr of pain management, the Dr treats my wife as nothing more than a drive through fast food order. It’s sad see a Dr slip ( or jump) into a ‘give a crap’ persona, when he is the one person we are trying to trust and believe in, to help with the important medical issues, and care enough to make the patient experience one that reflects his competence, as though he had spent any time at all figuring out how he could make the patient experience more seamless, less redundant in forms, which he knows he already has on file in the office where he personally treated my wife, the first time. Maybe he’s a competent Dr, ( not sure), but he’s an abject failure at considering his clients, other than seeing each as an ATM.
The front and back staff are so welcoming! Monica and Lupe treated my mother with great service. Both ladies were super sweet and answered every question I had. They were very attentive to my mother both pre and post op. Dr. Lessner made the experience even better! He reassured us that everything was going to go great and it did! This facility exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the staff at Craig Ranch. You guys are awesome!
Don't worry about early check in, this is the type place that schedules you an hour before you see anyone. The folks are nice and the place is mostly clean.
Very efficient. Procedure went like clockwork! Staff was wonderful.
If I can give them a 0 star I would. This is a scam to take all your money. They refused to do an urgent surgery after I couldn’t pay 4000 upfront. Lady name Briddgett at the front rude and careless. Don’t waste your time and money with this place
I’ve had 2 surgeries here, one before covid and one during. Both experiences were great and the staff was very friendly. If you have a doctor that operates from this location or need to go here for some reason, you won’t be disappointed. They took great care of me and implemented all the right protocols to keep me safe during this pandemic.
I had a phenomenal experience at this surgery center and they truly are an example of the “WOW” experience. The nurses, anesthesiologist, CRNA, and many others truly made my visit phenomenal. I wish I could remember the names of my Pre-Op and PACU nurses because they were the best! I would recommend this surgery center to any of my friends and family!
I was recently a patient at the surgery center for a finger joint replacement. My surgery time was delayed by approximately 3-hours due to unavoidable circumstances. The nursing staff was incredible prior to surgery & post surgery. Every effort was made to make me as comfortable as possible. The anesthesiologist & staff were also amazing. Everyone was very professional, highly skilled, and genuinely caring. The entire group works as a cohesive team and it’s obvious they enjoy their work of providing medical care.
I would recommend a different surgery center to anyone. I had a colonoscopy scheduled. 2 days prior I spoke to a nurse to take my medical history, I informed her that I have recurring shingle and currently had a breakout on my face. I expressed that I want to make sure that was ok. I even called the morning before to double check before beginning the prep, left a message at the nurses station and never received a call back. I arrived this morning only to be told that I could not have the procedure due to my shingles. This was a high level of incompetence on the surgery centers part. Would not recommend.
I had laparoscopic hernia surgery at Texas Health surgery center Craig ranch. The surgeon was Dr Chad Carlton of Plano Texas. I came to them through a payment plan called New Choice Health. The whole experience was outstanding. I highly recommend everyone involved with that surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
