Thrasher Richard's Online Review Report Card

My first visit left me feeling great. I felt like Dr. Thrasher was taking his time and listening and being thorough. The plan that was decided on then went out the window when his office did not code my imaging correctly and insurance kicked it back. From then on, I felt like more of a hinderance to his office and what was initially decided as necessary became unimportant, leading to a recommendation to go to a different physician not specializing in what the primary concern was. Working in healthcare myself, I know that this is not how patients should be treated. The office staff is lazy and looking for the easiest way out regardless of patient advocacy, and Dr. Thrasher seems more concerned with surgical patients bringing in more money than a young patient like me. Currently looking for a different physician who will actually help me .

Dr. Thrasher and his staff have been very helpful and friendly. He explained in detail everything that was going to happen during my procedure and was very knowledgeable. His staff is friendly and prompt. I highly recommend Dr. Thrasher.

I went in a year ago to do allergy drops. I saw Dr. Thrasher for a total of 5 minutes then met with the allergist. Despite numerous requests over that year to meet with him again because I didn’t feel like the drops were working, filling out every patient review they sent me, I could never get a call or appointment. It was very clear that the patient reviews they send out about how the drops are working are not even looked at by Dr. Thrasher or his allergists. Overall, the care given at Dr. Thrasher’s office was awful. You won’t really see him and calling to speak to someone is more often than not simply just a series of being past on from one person to another.

Dr. Thrasher is a great ENT doctor. He was very helpful and easy to understand. The staff was friendly and helpful.

He was pleasant

Knowledgeable and listens and answers questions. Nice staff and clean office. We had paperwork ready when we arrived and were taken back to a room almost instantly and wait from there was pretty norma. Dr. Thrasher didn’t try to rush us off and went out of his way to explain everything.

I have a rather large family, and half of us have asthma. I went in, with hopes of getting relief from allergies, and for 2 of my kiddos for tonsils and adenoids to help get better sleep. They were able to get 7 of 9 of us started on allergy shots, the other two of us apparently aren’t allergic to anything, and get both of my kiddos surgeries in, just two weeks after the first appointment, so I could align it with Christmas break so they didn’t miss any school. The staff is great. We love them.

Dr. Thrasher seems to care more about getting to see more patients than listening: There are also many more charges once you get in the door than you are told about that your insurance does NOT cover.
