List of Zahid N Zafar's Reviews
I will not recommend anyone to Zafar. Very unprofessional, he will receive phone call on his cell in the consulting room, he will stop attending to you to be on the phone for about 15mins. He did it to my mother, and my son. My mom has stopped going to him and today will be the last time my son seeing Zafar. Very rude and unprofessional. I wish I can rate Zero/0 instead
I had a follow up solitary his nurse practitioner to get lab work done this morning. My calcium level was high 3 months ago. I arrived to find the nurse practitioner was no longer working with him. Then I was advised he is not in the office today. No one bothered to call me. It was very upsetting to me. Very unprofessional.
Dr. Zafar uses predatory practices against the elderly to bill for extra office visits that are unnecessary.
Dr. Zafar is one of the most professional physicians in McKinney and Collin County. I would always trust my life with Dr. Zafar.
I would rather give him negative stars if there were any. Pathetic doctor with irresponsible office staff....It’s nothing more than a business to him..hardly see any patients always the nurse practitioner who is filling up for him...
Worst doctor ever. He told my mom to lose weight when in fact she was complaining of ovarian cancer symptoms. She passed away 5 years later from the cancer. If he had bothered to examine her, she wouldn’t have suffered the way she did. I wouldn’t let him examine my dog let alone a human. My mom said he never even conducted an exam and told her she’s fat because she was in a wheelchair all day. She actually had late stage cancer.
Very unprofessional practice from front desk to the Dr. The front desk is very unresponsive and useless. If you need something such as a prescription refill, lab order or appt be prepared to call multiple times, be on hold for an hour at the very least and leaving multiple voice msgs, least to say at the end of the day they go into a black hole because no one ever calls back to follow up. Ah did I forget they also don't have an online portal, awesome!!! Now to Dr and the Nurse Practitioner, they are in a class of their own, this is where you know where the front office gets the direction from, when you have such exceptional role models then what else can you expect from the front office. Any lab orders or expiring med refills, patients need to know all that and more because the Dr office which is supposed to be communicating say a week or so before the due date doesn't do any of that. When you out of meds, the doc office won't even refill till you get the labs and see the doc, guess wh
I'm 67 years old, and generally don't like or trust, doctors. I've seen Dr Zafar for over 5 years now, and have been very pleased with his entire practice. I can usually get in to see him (or his PA) within 3-5 days. Have seldom had to wait more than 15 minutes. They are very knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, and helpful.
My husband has been seeing Dr. Zafar and his PA for over 10 years. My husband has many medical conditions and this is his PCP. As a PCP this office is amazing. We've never have any issues in getting appointments, being seen on time (within 15 min) or having prescriptions / refills sent in in a timely manner. We see his specialists for the medical care he requires for his CHF, diabetes, and other conditions. We like them so much that I started seeing him at the Allen location.
Worst doctor possible. Total scam. My dad has congestive heart failure, and has a result has breathing problems and swollen feet. Dr Zafar did not even examine his lungs and feet. This is a common complain from many patients in the waiting room, that he does not examine patients properly. He was the leader of the group, and main doctor in 3 doctor practice previously. two of his partners were involved in some fraud. He was the kingpin apparently but managed to not get caught. He tried hard to refer dad for some research study to some cardiology friend of his, who has a similar bad reputation. Uncaring greedy doctors like him are a curse on patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
