At first, Dr. Izenberg was my mother's primary care physician, but he is so exceptional that I wanted him to be my doctor as well. My mother is 98 yrs old (at the time of this writing) and I often accompany her for her visits, so I've witnessed how he handles his patients. My mother, who has had many doctors in her lifetime is thrilled with him. Dr. Izenberg always takes whatever time is needed to explain things and to answer any questions we might have. He is very experienced and applies that wealth of knowledge to solving medical issues. He is very thoughtful, personable, and has a fine sense of humor. I've read other reviews here and realize that a couple of people may have downgraded him only because they, themselves are humorless and/or want their physician to be more serious and detached. If that's what you want, you should find another doctor.

He is a great doctor when i moved to Arizona 1997 from Chicago he was the first doctor I seen him for 8yrs mckillip's and record Road in Mesa goes up and Beyond my insurance don't take it anymore my whole family seems to him he helped my mom with her disability case. Good doctors are hard to come by now I'm at the same place looking for a great doctor that accepts Mercy Care he did when I seemed him I'm thankful for that.

Doctors diagnoses is always right on. He takes as much time with you as needed. No question is unanswered. I would not have any trouble recommending him to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Izenberg for years. My former doctor retired and it was a long, lonnng search before I found a doctor as thorough and caring as Dr. Izenberg. He goes above and beyond, takes his time, and investigates deeply.

Dr. Izenberg has been our family doctor for over 20 years. We moved to AZ in 97' and I was in junior high. My aunt worked in his office and referred him to us. So thankful for that! He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Anytime I was sick he knew right away what was going on. Dr. Izenberg never ordered any testing or blood work that wasn't needed. He truly is the best doctor in town.
