List of Dallas Medical Physician Group's Reviews
This office requested full payment for a procedure I had done, without billing my medical insurance. When I called to inquire about the outstanding charge, they stated they had not billed my insurance company because it was an out of state insurance. I contacted my insurance company about this, and clarified that the office had a responsibility to submit the claim, specially since it was for a Covid-19 test, and that it was a covered procedure, regardless if was an out of state medical insurance. Proper practice is to bill the insurance company first, instead, this office took it upon themselves not to, and preferred to charge the patient.
Worst staff you will ever deal with. Web site says one thing, only to arrive and find out something totally differnt. For instance. Web site says CDC does not recomend mask be worn. Once you are at there office, you can not enter without one.Find a Dr. Anywhere else but here.

We've now taken my mother to both Dr. Co and Dr. Osborne. We love them!

Thank you to the doctor and staff! I recently moved here and am extremely pleased with how thorough the doctor was and how nice the staff is!
Front office staff will tell you that they have insurance approval for test and then when you arrive, you find out that they do not have approval for test. They tell you they called you and when they did it was 1 hour prior to your appointment. This is no way to run a Doctor's office. Very inconvenient for the patient. They also dropped the insurance that we had through the Market Place and called to cancel the appointment an hour prior to the appointment. What the heck? that's ridiculous thing to do to a patient, cancelling 1 hours prior! They need to get it together and get staff that can do the job. This can make or break a Doctor's business.
I have NEVER provided a Yelp review, but after my experience with this practice, I signed up specifically to report my experience with these people. In 2015 went to a doctor in this practice for a simple physical that was covered at 100% on my medical insurance. After providing the practice with my insurance information I went home thinking they would bill my insurance to obtain payment for this service. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE... a FULL YEAR LATER, they send me to collections because they failed to bill my insurance. They ended up billing some Medicare plan that I did not have (I am under 55) and now they have passed their timely filing limit so my insurance won't pay for a bill that is over 1 year old. They even ADMITTED their mistake... and still continued to bill me and send me to collections. I finally ended up paying over $150 for a physical that I received almost 2 years ago and was COMPLETELY COVERED by insurance. Not only is their billing staff incompetent, they will charge YOU for their incompetence. I wish I could give NO stars. Too bad!
I really do not want to even give them one star. I've gone to the same general doctor for many years. He recently joined this group and I've had nothing but problems on the billing end. We pay the amount that they tell us is due at the time of the visit for just a general visit refills, cold, etc. and everytime we get a bill from Dallas Physicians saying that we owe more money. That never ever happened before he joined this group. It is very frustrating. Because we have to pay the full amount before we meet our deductable the visit amount alone is bad, then to get another bill on top of that is ridiculous.
Visited my doctor on 4/12/2016. Of course I have no idea what the full payment is due to the insurance processing. I received a bill in the mail at the end of the April. I planned to pop into my doctor's office in the next few days and pay him directly the $75.13. Today, 5/6/2016 I get a call from Dallas Medical Physician Group rep telling me this call his being recorded and if I got the bill. Thanks for the bill collection courtesy call?? What a strange business practice. I have no problem with a call if I had not made payment after 30 days after the bill was sent. But less than 30 days since I saw my doctor! Ridiculous! My doctor is great but this end of the business needs help. Maybe this was a mistake but if it wasn't, I hope more people speak up.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
