My day surgery nurse Michelle was amazing! She took extra good care if me!
they need all new staff. L&D specifically. they are completely ignorant and dont know anything theyre doing. for example, the nurse i had yesterday forced me to wear a glove over my hand where i had an iv tube still in (should have been taken out) then the glove fills with blood completely and there was blood all on the floor and myself, because the iv tube disconnected cause of the glove! she didnt even clean it up either or help me. heres some pics! will be contacting a lawyer. (oh and dont expect them to know squat about dialation, they do not know what theyre doing!!)
We had a medical emergency with my mother in law on 04/01/22. The ambulance picked her up and delivered her to DRMC at 1:30-1:45am. When we got there at 2am, we went to the triage reception and spoke to the lady checking in patients to the ER. We told her the ambulance just dropped our mother off in respiratory distress. She asked for her name and DOB and we provided it. She rudely snapped at us and said our mother is not there and we should leave to find whatever hospital the ambulance dropped her off.We left confused and scared. We called the non-emergency line to inquire if there was a change in drop off. They confirmed that the drop off did not change and she was taken to DRMC. We went back to DRMC and encountered the same lady. She rolled her eyes and just stared at us. We asked again if our mother was here. She said “I already said she wasn’t here”. We were distraught. We immediately called the non emergency line to re-confirm. While on the phone with them, the lady found that they mixed up two numbers on the social security number and had our mother down as a different patient. We were finally able to see her after an hour. These kind of mistakes should not be made and cause a rip in the lines of communication between patients and their families. Plus, the workers need to have some compassion.Do not go to this hospital.Update: Leadership with DRMC asked if I would leave them my number to have the reach out to me to discuss. It has now been 3 weeks since I gave them my number and I have not received a call from their leadership team.Even their Leadership Team doesn’t care.
Came in around noon, went back for triage and was sent back into the waiting room. Someone came out about an hour later and called three names, we stood up and looked around the corner and they said they were just checking to see if we were still there. Another two hours went by, the waiting room was empty. My husband went to check and see when I would be called back to find out we had been checked out. The triage lady said she didn’t see us, so she checked us out. We were there the whole time!! Called my husband a liar and went back into here office. The ladies at the front apologized and said they would recheck me in, but no telling how much longer I would of had to wait. I have a Trimalleolar fracture that they wanted to admit me for on Sunday.
I would like to recognize these two nurses for their compassion and respect they deserve, Cheryl Cummingham and new nurse in training Precious Holmes (3rd floor) Precious, has great skills with the needle, I didn't feel anything. Also Sandra Dean (rounder) small things sometimes doesn't get recognized appreciate those warm washcloths to wash my face and hands. Ladies you ROCK!!! The room I was in I was watching the TV the picture went out but the sound continue to play took 35-40 minutes to turn back on.Also don't staff in the emergency room needs more training with putting in an IV ASAP hand swelled. Theirs a room in the emergency room that's extremely cold staff tells you they don't know why this room is extremely cold if these issues get address I would have given 5 ⭐thank you
I recently had to take my 4 year old to the ER here, and the care experience we had was nothing less than phenomenal!Checking in was easy, there was minimal paperwork to complete, and we were sent back to a room within 15 min of arriving. Rayce was the nurse that saw my daughter, and he was so kind to her. He spoke to her in a "kid friendly" tone and joked around with her to help her feel less anxious. Even after she vomited on him several times, his demeanor never changed. He made sure she was comfortable and helped to quickly find out the results of the tests and x-rays they had done. The respiratory therapist, Frank, was also fantastic. She feared the mask she had to wear for a breathing treatment; he talked her through that and made sure she wasn't afraid before he started it. He also gave me a few samples of albuterol to take home until we could get her prescription filled the next morning. Divya, the radiology tech that did her chest x-rays was wonderful. I had to step out of the room while she took the x-rays, and she made my daughter feel safe and comfortable during the procedure. She even brought the machine around to let my daughter see the images and she loved it!It's been a couple of weeks since we have been there and not only is my daughter doing much better, but she still talks about our trip to the ER that night and "how much fun she had." The ER staff and the service and care we received was incredible and I wouldn't hesitate to come back if needed. Thanks so much!

Super professional stuff!! 👏👏 to the Postpartum Unit (PPU) they did good job. Highly recommended.
The only things nice about this place is the exit. The only staff that wasn't completely rude was the front desk lady. Registration needs to be trained on how to use there tools our registration took extremely way to long because of user error. This place is dim and gross looking and it is clear all the care about patients wallets before health and don't even attempt to run a nice hospital. Do not come here if at all possible.-------------------------------------------------------------------------I was told I would get a call and never did.
I didn't feel welcomed by the PA. I give it a 5 start because the whole staff (besides PA) treated me very well. They were all very professional. Dr Taha and an OB doctor who performed surgery on me were great. Both sweet doctors. The OR nurses and the nurses on the floor including triage were amazing. I am finally home recuperating and happy with the way they took care of me.Thank You ❤️🌷

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
