This was my first visit with Sanitas Medical Center in Mesquite. My intentions were to establish a new provider to take care of my medical needs which I found to be the best facility. The Nurse Practitioner that I visited with was very knowledgeable and checked me quickly and properly. Front desk staff were very friendly and cordial. I recommend me Highly!! And so, convent to my home which I do not have to travel far. I am very happy with my new medical facility. Thank you for putting me at ease to my first visit and plenty more to come. I saw a new Dr that I haven't seen before, Dr Monsurat for a cough. I had mentioned that I didn't take all of my last antibiotic pack due to bad side effects. After scoffing and shaking her head, and lecturing me on how irresponsible that is, she said "I'll prescribe some cough syrup for you to help with cough". GREAT! This upper respiratory infection is kicking my butt! I go to pick up the "cough medicine" she prescribed... only to see she prescribed me CHILDRENS over-the-counter cough syrup... I am a *25 year old woman* With asthma and a severe cough. I can't help but feel that this was out of PURE pettiness. Not even adult OTC. and I felt attacked the entire time..like being lectured about how dumb I am for not finishing my antibiotics, so she did this now i need to go back and at least get myself some *adult* medicine... cheeky, real cheeky.

The turnover rate of PCP at this location is very ALARMING not to mention they’re very laxed on having your much needed prescriptions filled timely. 🚩🚩🚩🚩

The clinic never answers the phone and then you get transferred to the call center and they try and the clinic still never answers the phone. They run incorrect tests not based on what actually needs to be checked, and then are surprised when a patient is frustrated about being billed for a test that was done incorrectly. They take forever to call in prescriptions to the pharmacy - I'm talking it takes them days and you have to call in and remind them more than once to call in your prescription. Trying to get the doctor at this location to do a telehealth visit is like pulling teeth, even if you make it clear you cannot come in person and just need the visit for a referral. They tell you that you should be able to message your doctor on the patient portal, but the doctor has it set so you can't message him. If you try to reach out to the customer service about a complaint, that department tells you they will follow up on it and follow back up with you, and nothing ever happens. Extremely disappointing clinic and care given that my BCBS of Texas HMO plan contracts with them specifically.

For the malpractice they did on me. I went and ask them “are y’all design to kill and destroy people?” giving out the wrong meds etc. Instead of handing the question and complaint normal the lady at the front desk called the police and lied and said I was going to shoot up the place. Don’t get too excited or loud. THEY WILL CALL THE POLICE AND LIE. My recommendation avoid this place.

I moved to Texas one year ago. I found Sanitas and thought it was great Dr Erickson was perfect. I called for appointment and learned she was no longer there. I then get assigned a PA. I go in because I have bronchial issues. I explain diagnosis of Pulmonary Dr in Colorado. Erickson previously gave antibiotics I needed. Went back and PA only give inhalers, despite my explaining and she never said she wasn’t authorized to give antibiotics. So two weeks later I am sick again first teleheatg nurse says urgent care so I call back for a urgent care visit at Sanitas and the guys says I can’t have two appointments in one day even though their nurse said go urgent care. Then I get there and find I can’t get antibiotics which is what I need to get over the infection that I am prone to get due to lung disease!!!!!! I don’t see care as a concern they are just collecting my net for nothing !!!! I can’t breathe and now I have to hope to get it treated before traveling for work!! I am beyond LIVID! I’m sick

My first time coming here. Everyone, literally everyone is so kind and helpful. Ok, its been over a year since i left the original review. And though i still like coming here, very much, the staff is typically friendly & helpful, the doctors are all wonderful, knowledgable, and kind. I do not, however, like the fact that pretty much every time or every other time i come here there is a new doctor. I needed a referral this morn to see my eye dr. His office told me to call here so they could fax over the referral since ive been going to him for several yrs. But since sanitas had once again changed docs on me they would not fax it in, i had to leave my eye dr in richardson, come back to mesquite before i could go to work. This was ridiculous. Maybe just my frustration w the morn since i was in pain.

I have always had a great experience when taking my son & myself there for treatment. From Sophia at the front desk to Angela, in the back to Dr. Cunanan. They all have great customer service skills & the best bedside manner. If you are ever sick, stop by! They will take care of you & get you on the way to recovery! Mirna B.
