I have met with Dr. Akins twice, once when I had just been diagnosed with prostate cancer and for my simulator preparation for radiation treatments. I have enjoyed my meeting with Dr. Akins and his supporting staff as all have been open to our questions and the procedures have been fully explained.

Yes Dr. Akins staff were so kind and helpful. They helped me through a difficult time. We laughed and had fun while they did their job of taking care of me. I chose to do the 5 day treatment to get it over with instead of traveling in for 28 days. It was more painful but at least it is over with.
