My mother has been going to this doctor office for past 6yrs she’s never had any types of problems with this office untilThe other day my mom went for a checkup after her checkup Dr Cuenca asked if she has had her vaccine shot my mom replied with no I haven’t had it yet the doctor goes on to say WELL YOUR GONNA GET IT TODAY (BASICALLY TRYING TO MAKE HER TAKE THIS SHOT WHEN SHE DOES’NT EVEN WANT TO) my mom replies with NO IM NOT IM NOT GETTING SOMETHING THAT IM NOT COMFORTABLE TAKING Dr. Cuenca replies with YES YOU ARE and again my mom refuses to take the shot so the doctor goes on to tell her if you don’t get this shot it could effect your liver Etc. So she proceeds to say I hope I don’t ever read about you in a obituaryI thought this was very rude of her and unprofessional of her for the way she acted the things she said
I think Dr Cuenca is wonderful. She has served as my surgeon and specialist in thyroid management for several years and I would recommend her to anyone. And she has a phenomenal staff!
Dr. Cuenca and her staff were very kind, comforting, and professional. I would recommend them any time.
2/3 appointments - After waiting over 45 mins. after my scheduled appt. time, I was rushed through, not given an opportunity to ask questions, spoken to in a condescending manner, and failed to receive proper care. After having stitches removed an infection formed the next day. Called hospital and was asked to leave my info. and told she would be paged and would call me back shortly. I never received a call back. Her staff was rude, unorganized, and lacked compassion and communication skills. She also left my door open while talking on her way out and I was still in the gown. The nurse also didn't leave the room while she had me put the gown on. I have had breast biopsies done on both sides 3 times by other surgeons and this is the only one to become infected. During the biopsy I could feel it and it did hurt considerably, she proceeded without any comment or additional lidocaine. I didn't even want to contact her for the infection so I called the hospital for care, apparently she is affiliated with them and requires them to page her if a patient contacts them, she was paged and given my info. to call me back and NEVER did. She could have at least asked another Dr. to call me to hear the concerns and give me instructions. Absolutely terrified for someone to be treated by her. If she didn't take a liking to you I feel and experienced subpar treatment by her and her staff. Absolutely unacceptable!!! I have never had such a terrible experience with Dr. and their staff. Use caution and please do your research. She seriously told me I needed excisions on both breast and when I asked her to explain this to me she told me to ask the surgeon that would be performing it since we agreed that I should find a new Dr. and because she can't treat me due to insurance reasons and a very unpleasant experience with her staff. The staff lost cd's I brought with me and loaned to them. They gave it to the breast center and they were lost. They wouldn't resolve the issue and told me to call the breast center. I didn't give them permission and they didn't inform me that they would be sending it to another facility. Why is it noe up to me to sort through it after I just had these biopsies and still waiting for the results after being told by Dr. Cuenca that I would need excisions afterwards. The staff spoke without having full knowledge on a few occasions and then became aggitated with me for trying to sort through it all with them (while trying to remain calm and collected) after becoming frustrated with their lack of communication, responsibility for mistakes made, unwillingness to come to a resolution, impatient, and overall lack of performance probably due to their unwillingness. My last appointment was absolutely terrible. The first one was much better but still rushed, not on time (45 mins after appointment time I got into a room) , not given a chance to ask questions, and even told that I didn't have a biopsy ever done because she didn't see the clip on the mammogram. Ummm, I went through it and have the documentation so I know I had them done. I am very displeased if you can not tell. My last appointment I called because I was going to be 5 mins. late (Mom couldn't get off the pot because of her colitis acting up due to the stress she was experiencing) I was told my appointment was scheduled for 9:45 Not 8:45. I explained that I was holding and looking at the appointment time that they wrote down and it showed 8:45. Jesse (nurse/receptionist) then told me fine we will see you. When I brought that paper in and showed it to her she states she knew and looked it up. Instead of taking responsibility and simply communicating to me yes, I apologize I spoke too soon and seen that it was in fact 8:45. She was rude on my most of my visits and phone calls. Maybe overworked and understaffed. One nurse, one medical assistant who both perform a receptionist duties as well. The only one that agreed that their was a communication breakdown was the office manager who showed compassion and understanding. In my opinion they don't like to be challenged when they make a mistake and therefore change their attitudes towards you and give you poor treatment. Sorry to anyone that decides to go with them as their specialist and ends up in a situation like mine. Save your energy and protect your health, go with someone different.

awesome surgeon and more awesome lady!!! i love her!!!
Love Dr. Rosa Cuenca, I would recommend her to anybody. Her staff is also great.
i LOVE her!!! she did an awesome job on my lumpectomy and followups. she's always been there for my questions, fears, and freakouts. every other dr. i've seen has had to actually LOOK for scars to find where she did my surgery. she also refferred me to the best oncologist anybody could ask for. i'm cancer free cause of the Good Lord and both of them now, and i rang my bell on 3/14/2017
I've seen Dr Cuenca for my thyroid concerns for over a year. She is an absolutely wonderful physician. Compassionate and professional excellence. I recommend her often.
I have already and will again recommend Dr. Cuenca to friends. I felt very at ease, even with a malignant diagnosis. Dr. Cuenca is caring and personable. I tell folks that she cried with my wife. She assured me throughout the entire process that she would do all that was necessary to "get it all", and she did. I thank God for Rosa Cuenca, MD.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
