Jean Woel Latortue's Online Review Report Card

Where do I start? From being put on telephone hold at times for 10+ minutes numerous times (I hung up each time and called back since the front desk did not pick up), to taking almost two weeks to send in a referral for a spine doctor, to having to call 3x to get refunded for a mistakenly ordered prescription they sent to Express Scripts, the instances of poor office management abound. I have other concerns which I am not at liberty to discuss.

Very good! He is my Dr of choice. Listens to whatever I have to say. Addresses any issues I bring to his attention. Has even pulled up a chair for discussion of things that concern me.

I have been seeing Dr. Latortue for a few years now. I appreciate him. He always takes time out to listen to me and see what my concerns are. He has never been rushed with me or act as if he had somewhere better to be. He is always concerned about how I am doing as a whole person..mentally and physically. I could not ask for a better doctor. Not to mention he is always happy and glad to see you.

So far he's a wonderful Doctor. Unlike other doctors in this area he doesn't brush off what I say. Apparently, it takes some pushing to get him to do something but when I saw him recently he liked the information I gave him. He offered me some alternatives to a particular medicine I wanted to get off of. He also accepted my dietary alternative which I appreciate. When a doctor listens to what the patient says that's both inspiring and appreciated. He also agreed to let me try to get off a few other drugs to see how I do. I really don't like pills period. I think all pills are "magic" pills and a form of sorcery. I look for healthy alternatives to pills to minimize what I need to be on. Dr. LaTortue agreed to let me try doing without a few of them. To see how I do without them. I appreciate being able to get off of them for a while to see how I do without them.

Dr. Needs to stay with the patient a little longer...Some of my question weren't address I didn't have time to ask about...love the Dr...

Most caring up-beat always with a smile doctor ever. He always takes the real time to listen and have the answers for your problems.

I was looking for a new PCP due to a move to the Mt. Vernon area. He may be good for very simple things such as the nurse practitioner level, but he does not appear to be very knowledgeable on more complex cases. I am still looking it seems.

Dr. G is an outstanding doctor. Always welling to take time to listen and act on what your issues are. He loves the community he lives in and truly want to help us all,live a better healter life.

1. You can not understand a word he is saying, he is from Haiti. 2. They cannot tell you when you had your last blood test. 3. When the office is busy, they will not take a phone call. 4. When you finally call to get your blood or biopsy test results, just drive to the office and find out, because, it will take them 3 weeks to call you back when they received the results 72 hours later. I have seen Dr. Latortue for 2 and 1/2 years now, service only gets worse. Going back to Greenville.
