David Dixon Golden's Online Review Report Card

We called one month ahead and gave our insurance information only to be told on the day of the appointment they don’t take Davis Vision Insurance.

Dr Golden is very respectful. He helped me tremendously. It truly was a blessing.

First visit was fine. My second visit was to discuss my MRI results. Dr. Dixon came in, sat down and read verbatim the results, all scientific jargon for a lay person. I asked what it meant, and he replied “just what I said”, and proceeded to read it again verbatim. Never gave me a diagnosis. I found it later on their digital site. New dr. explained it all to me, as obviously he did not want to.

Stay away from dr. Dixon. I'm a nurse and have seen him botch many surgeries including my fathers. The worse part is his unwillingness to deal with complications post operative. I begged my father not to allow dr. Dixon to perform his foot surgery. He didn't listen. He's now facing losing his foot as a result.

Dr. Dixon performed my bunion surgery in September 2019. His bedside manner is non-existent. I had a boot and was on crutches and he refused to issue me a handicapped parking sticker-told me it wasn’t needed. Also assured me of a 4-6 week recovery period-am still experiencing issues and am treating with a physical therapist and my chiropractor. When I told him my scar was causing me pain he told me to either put vitamin e oil on it or go to physical therapy-my choice. Very distant personality-must have missed the semester on patient compassion !!! Thank God his staff was knowledgeable and communicated better with me than he did!!

I can’t say anything bad about my experience. I had surgery for a broken heel bone. 19 screws and a big plate and I’m healed up. I have no clue how people can have such bad experiences. As far as time. My body can only heal so fast. I’ve done exactly what he told me to. Not one issue with his work. I’m hoping to never have to use him again but if I need to I will. Yes I’d recommend.

Actually, I wouldn't. Disappointed with results of my surgery. Does not communicate very well. Hard to get answers.

I fully regret having dr dixon do my surgery for bunion/bone spur on right foot nine months ago. Will be looking for a competent surgeon to fix his biotched job. Completely lacking in follow up care.

Dr. Dixon changed my daughters life! He did an excellent job on reconstruction of both her feet. I cannot day enough about this brilliant doctor. He actually knew what was wrong with her feet after going to the Bone and Joint for 10 years! Dr. Dixon was kind, compassionate, and professional.

He is does not know a lot about ankles. Please stay away from him if you have ankle or foot issues. in my small circle of acquaintances, I have found at least 4 people that have had very bad expediencies with him. Unfortunately, I found out about their bad experiences after the so-called Dr. Dixon messed up my ankle and used 8 screws to fuse the wrong bones. there is a world of difference between him and his office and the ankle experts I found in Baltimore, unfortunate too late for me.
