List of James Randle's Reviews
Went in for a simple removal of the herniated portion of my L7 disc pushing on my sciatic nerve and immediately still felt the same way with sciatic nerve pain right after the surgery. Dr Randle had me do another mri and it came back with the disc still pushing on my sciatic nerve and he told me he did not remove enough of the disc. It’s been almost a year since the surgery and I’m still having the same problems as before. I had a successful L7 surgery in 2015 on the opposite side of my spine from The late Dr Peterson out of lufkin so I know what a good back surgery should feel like. Should have taken the time to read dr. Randles reviews before letting him cut on me.
My mother suffered a stroke and Dr Randle required two surgeries in a matter of days to properly address the bleeding. Communication was non existent. Andrew the “PA” came in and spoke with me the day she was transported out. I asked about the spinal fluid leak and was told she has a major surgery coming up, installing the brain flap back in. Since her move to rehab. They have not communicated with her or the facility. I called and left a detailed message to after hours operator last Friday to get appt together for Monday. Due to her being discharged on the upcoming Tuesday. No contact back. I called the following Monday and spoke again with Andrew. Disgraceful how he performs. Lies about everyone. Crazy. He was going to call us back later that day. Nope. That didn’t happen. So I stopped by their clinic on Thursday and again left detailed message for us to be contacted and brought up to speed. We will see Thursday how they correct their mistakes.
Would give a zero if it were an option. Dr Randle is very rude and dismissive. He never asked me one single question NOT ONE. He has no idea what hell I live with in a daily basis.
Dr.Randle is a GOD given to me, I was in so much pain and getting very discouraged and downhearted from being rejected by other doctors in nacogdoches, and dr. Randle took me right in, he done my surgery and now I am 100% better, I can not say enough about the love, compassion, concern and professionalism of dr.Randle and his staff and the staff at the surgery center, I love and appreciate EVERYONE OF THEM. 🌹🦋💐🙏 GOD bless you all and HAPPY HOLIDAYS, I CAN'T THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH. 🦋
Dr. Randle did neck surgery on me October 7,2020. And did an amazing job. From his office staff, being so friendly and professional. I was really impressed that he had already looked at my M.R,I's , seen my issues, and had a plan before we ever met. I would highly recommend Dr. Randle to anyone.
Dr. Randle and his staff are excellent and always willing to listen. He is a great surgeon, and takes time to explain all information to help provide a better understanding of your health and what is needed to improve it. I have had three surgeries performed by Dr. Randle, and my care was excellent. I highly recommend Dr.Randle to all those in need of his services.
Dr randal talked to me in terms i could understand. He was a wonderful surgeon and Andy has been a blessing through all of this along with his office staff"rebecca" is the best and most helpful. I was scared to have back surgery and I could not ask for a better team. I would totally let dr randal do surgery on me again.
Terrible he operated on my husband put a shunt in his head. Mark kept having problems went back they did not know how to adjust it. Asked Mark what kind of shunt it was he said he did not know. Finally said it was working. We went to Shreveport to a doctor and he said it had not been working. The Dr in Shreveport said he should have a disk we knew nothing about a disk. The Dr in Shreveport replaced the shunt and he has done great. Dr Randall needs retire !!!
My husband was having back issues. We went to Dr Polk who sent him to Randall. I had told Dr Polks office to call me with the results of his MRI as my husband is deaf. Never got a call, my husband texted me and said he was going to the ER to get an injection from Dr Randall. I asked if he needed me and he said no it was ok. About 30 minutes of trying to get ahold of Dr Polk he said they were doing emergency surgery on my husband. I was livid, I immediately left work and rushed to Medical Center. No one from there got an interpreter for my husband. By the time I got there is was in surgery. On the second day post op my husbands incision had about a 4” spot that wasn’t closed very well. Dr Randall came in the room and said he needed a few staples. Before we realized what he was doing he put 4 staples in my husband with no numbing. My husband screamed and I yelled and told Dr Randall he was insane. He said it would have hurt just as much to deaden it. It all just went downhill from there. We talked to a few attorneys but due to the cap on what you can sue for no one wanted to deal with it. He was very smug when we went for follow up visits. On the last visit he said Dr Polk had rushed the surgery on my husband. I wasn’t impressed with any of them.
Dr. Randle cares and is excellent neurosurgeon. He did back surgery on me 2010 and I did not have any problems - fixed my issues. He will not ‘cut’ just to be cutting. You can trust his diagnosis. He cares about his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
