List of Joseph Scamardo's Reviews
He prescribed a follow up appointment, because I'm not responding to my meds.
I went to see him for the first time on 8/8/28, he displayed very rude manners for a doctor. I have several health problems and made rude comments about them and snickered afterwards, I'm also hard of hearing and when I asked him what he said he would roll his eyes instead of speaking a little louder. Very unprofessional. The nurse who took my vital signs had the sniffles real bad, she blew her nose but she didn't bother to wash her hands or use hand sanitizer. The rest of the staff was very nice. I went to see him for help with migraines. Not too sure if I'll be going back
Always in and out rather fast! Love the staff there and Dr. Scamardo. Always a friendly environment!
Dr. Scamardo was very intent on bringing me relief an wanting to identify the problem. Very compassionate toward my pain. Highly recommend.
Don’t know how Dr. Scamardo or his office are in business. They all need new jobs!! When you call to make an appointment or get refills it’s a bother to them to assist. Never had a doctor or office treat us with disrespect. First and last time going to him!!
Very stoic and doesn't listen. Visits were over in less than 5 minutes. Was told to pay via portal. I payed the amount on my first visit. They keep sending me bills for the specific amount I had already paid. I tried sending bank statements and other documents but got nowhere. Was told I would have to repay the fee or I was no longer a patient.
So I can not speak to the doctor but his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. He is treating my mother for Alzheimer's. She had an appointment scheduled for 12/27. His office calls about 2 hours prior to her appointment to tell me that he is out of the office that week and they need to reschedule. I was a bit perturbed that they waited to the DAY OF the appointment but the office person stated they had tried to call prior. This was a lie. I am a millennial. I always have my phone. The appointment was rescheduled for today at 8:15 AM. Their office staff calls at 7:30 to say that the doctor was sick and they needed to reschedule. When I displayed my indignation, the office staff returned the same. Unacceptable.
Very Good with figuring out what is wrong
He ok
My brother-in-law has been seeing him, he is very disabled. He has very bad seizures and Dr. Scamardo refuses to put him back on a medication that has helped him in the past. Instead is letting my brother-in-law get worse and worse. He has now had 7 seizures and is getting sicker by the day. We are looking into going out of town to a better neurologist, since he is so arrogant and will not listen to reason. I told him he was going to wind up having a seizure and falling and hitting his head and he replied with "well, he is in a wheelchair, so .." no person should have to be be treated this way. I am his advocate and I will not stand for this. If you want actual quality care, do not go see this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
