Would give 0 starts if I could. After waiting in office a total of 5 hours over 2 days for my appointment, missing class and work to be able to see him, I was given an uncharged, uncleaned heart monitor.(Wires were sticky, with hair on them!) I was given instructions to charge the device for 30 minutes, I then charged it for an hour, and wore it as instructed. The office called me several days later, saying that they had only recorded 45 minutes of data, instead of the required 24hrs, and that I was to come back into the office to pick up another monitor. After going back and waiting another HOUR for this to happen, I’m incredibly fed up, and would recommend you go anywhere else for your cardiac needs. With billboards all over town advertising you’re taking new patients, one would think he and his office would have time for the ones they already have

Dr Pokala is a very nice and I feel he is a excellent MD. But having to sit for hours to be seen is just not acceptable. Healthcare is just like any other business. I’ve worked in healthcare for almost 3 decades. Customer. Service is customer service. You can have a restaurant with excellent food, but if you have to wait forever, you’re going to go back.

Very smart and experienced doctor, but the wait times are horrific. Not unusual to wait 2 or 3 hours after your appointment time to be taken back to an exam room.

I went on a stretcher the EMT stayed with me. They took me back right away. Had to wait for Dr get back from hospital. Then things went quickly.

If you want excellent quality care by caring staff Dr Pokala is a good choice provided you don't mind waiting your turn as he is very popular and has a lot of patients sometime who has life threatening situations that needs his attention more than you do at the same time. So patience here!

If you schedule an appointment at this place make sure the rest of your day is free. Had an appointment at 8:50 am go through their check in and moved to the other side to wait for the doctor, who hadn’t arrived to the facility yet. Every single chair filled up and not taking any patients back who are all waiting for the doctor. They kept trying to bring more in to wait and there’s literally no more chairs. One lady said she had been there since 8:00 am before and did not leave until 5:00 pm. They should not be scheduling so many appointments so close together. I was taken back to be seen by the dr at 10:45. The Doctor and the staff who ran test are nice. They are very thorough. It is quality medical care, but the scheduling definitely needs to be re-worked people shouldn’t have to wait that long.

The office is a smidge overbooked and I can see why. An honest and direct man, capable, everything you could want in a doctor.
