Everyone was so helpful.
The reason I like seeing Dr Ivy is that I have never had to wait very long for an appointment with her and she and her staff offer excellent care. I just had a second surgery by her, both of them for a torn meniscus, different knees. While I am still recovering from the last surgery from less than one week ago, I can tell you that everything from the appointment to the surgery has been perfect. She will definitely be my knee doc from here on.
She explained everything well and did what was best for me. Very compassionate, thorough, and professional. I highly recommend her!
Horrible! Sent here by ER for broken shoulder. Showed her my ER X-rays—didn’t seem too interested or concerned. Told me to continue wearing sling and sent home with appt. 3 weeks later. Another X-ray then brushed off and prescribed (sentenced me to) PT. Horribly painful under the circumstances. Continued office visits (more X-rays and told I was doing fine). After 5 months of PT at their facility I was released from her care. Can’t help but wonder how much damage was done by PT (included bench pressing toward the end) with a broken shoulder. Don’t recall her touching my shoulder more than a few times, never checking my range of motion. After seeing my regular orthopedist, turned out I needed a reverse total shoulder replacement due to rotator cuff damage (was never discussed). Thankfully doing much better now, no thanks to Dr. Ivy.
Dr Ivy was the 2nd surgeon I saw once I knew I had a torn rotator cuff. She and her staff were more attentive and more pleasant to deal with. Everyone involved with my case has made sure my needs were met and that I understood what the process was going to be. Dr. Ivy took the time to explain my options, the pros and cons of them and their ramifications. Overall, the atmosphere of her clinic was just better. That's why I chose her and I'm glad I did.
Two words, THE BEST! I do not trust any other ortho with our care. We have been going to her for years. It started with my sons complete ACL Reconstruction, then my cortisone injections in my knee, to my daughters ankle. We always receive the best quality of care from her. I tell everyone I know about her.
Thanks Dr Amanda Ivy & TSAOG TEAM. April 2020, Dr Ivy did a right shoulder surgery repair of my labrum & bicep tendon. Dec 2020, I’m back for a right knee meniscus tear. Now May 2023, I tear 3 ligaments & lateral meniscus in my left knee, back to Dr Ivy. Each surgery has been successful & I have come back to work as a firefighter & full activities such as Jiu Jitsu & weight training. She cares for her patients well being & explains each part of the procedure in detail before ever making an incision. I highly recommend Dr Amanda Ivy for any of your surgical needs, especially if you’re an athlete. Her team & staff are beyond courteous & helpful in every way, from initial appointment to post op & physical therapy. OUTSTANDING!!!
Dr. Ivey is wonderful. She listens to how you are feeling. She discusses what she needs to be done before ahe does it. Aso when having surgery at the hospital she was amazing making sure we are ok before she heads to the next surgerie. I really recommend her. Our whole family has seen her for our knee injuries.
Listened attentively, empathetic, and keyed in on issue quickly.
Easy check in and quick conscientious visit by Dr. Ivy. Highly recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
