On this day May 28th 2025 and about 9:00 PM , The Baptist Medical Center downtown force my wife to transfer to a Rehab Center. The head nurse day time got discharged notice from the doctor about 12 noon. She told me about 6pm that it would have to be the next day because it was to late. However she and the night nurse decided to transfer my wife at that time. I believe that don’t care about the patient and the well being of the patient. That really sucks. Baptist Medical Center Downtown San Antonio Margaret Carrasquillo Was on the 3rd floor elevator C And the 2 head nurses had no compassion to handle the transfer to the rehab center. The head nurse even call in a Law Enforcement officer to kick my wife out. It was 9 pm time to get some sleep not to be transported to another facility because it was not an emergency that she had to be transported immediately
I've had two major surgeries last year. so this year I was apprehensive about getting my knee done again. but this joint wing of Northeast Baptist was awesome! I just couldn't believe the good treatment I received all the way from registration, through surgery, and then the nurses, Becky was awesome! all the nurses that took care of me were awesome! I feel so blessed and cared for. this time I felt safe. thank you Northeast Baptist joint wing. I actually did not want to go home this time due to the good care. I was so blessed here.
I had a great experience at Northeast Baptist Hospital joint club. The care that I receive from Lily A., Becky B., and Melissa Z. Was exceptional.
Baptist Health System.💯❤️🙏🏽
My mother recently was admitted to Baptist Medical Center 111 Dallas st. She was in the MICU. She suffered a stroke so at first trying to use the Purix catheter was a headache from the moment she got it . She was soiled twice within 45 mins. After the 3rd time the nurse realized the suction wasn’t up high enough. After that another RN kept entering the room and turning it off for whatever reason it’s unclear so of course she soiled herself a few more times and sat in urine waiting and not wanting to bother the nurse another time . A MRI was needed and when she arrived she stated the gentleman who takes the MRI pulled on the “transfer lining” with one hand and now my mother head is on the hospital bed and the rest of her body is on the MRI table . This HURTS and she tells him and he states that how it’s done . My mother has a sleeping bonnet on her head and he proceeds to tug on it asking what it is. Her nurse explains it’s a sleeping bonnet and he snatches it off her instead of ASKING politely. After that experience my mother was completely ready to go home . The overall experience was horrible. She stated she was ready to go the next day and the doctor advised she stay one more night but after all the rude and unprofessionalism who would want to ? They told her because she’s leaving sign documentation stating she’s leaving and that she has to leave without a wheelchair. My mother did explain she’s been in the hospital bed for three days and feels weak but they stated “ You’re not staying so no wheelchair. “ For me if they truly cared they would of still offered a wheelchair even if myself or father pushed it as the nurse followed her out to the elevator. Horrible experience horrible bed side manner and if it wasn’t a complete emergency I definitely would a made sure my mother was taken to a far better hospital one that didn’t stink like sewage and the people actually cared . They made my mother feel horrible and left in pain from the mri . Never again .
We greatly appreciate and highly recommend our loving nurses at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit; Kyle, Christine, Dori, all our respiratory therapists- Mr. Ruben and doctors🙏 For all the respect, patients, ethics, best bed side manners, care for the well being of my child and for all the positive encouraging words along the way while there.Thank you to all of you from the bottom of my heart. God Bless you all!
The stay at Northeast Baptist Cardiovascular Unit was pleasant but made even more enjoyable by the amazing nursing staff! Christiana, Mae, Nichole, Lisa, and Caroline deserve 10 out of 10 stars!!! Truly such a blessing to be taken care of so well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
