Genesis Medical Group's Online Review Report Card

I have been to many different doctors in my lifetime. Hendricks is BY FAR the best I’ve ever had! I just knew I had the issue I have and it needs to be treated and that’s that. When I started seeing her years ago, she explained in depth and explained how the levels work and very detailed to where a normal person can understand. Used medical terms and then explains it with a clear explanation. Absolutely amazing in every way! She makes you feel like a real human and she does not cast ANY judgement like I’ve feared with all the others I’ve seen in my history of doctors. She’s absolutely the BEST!

Office staff or maybe the doctors don't follow through with faxing referrals, clearances, etc. Once I was told they thought they faxed something but weren't sure they had the right fax number. Hello! Pickup the phone and call and confirm it- don't wait for a patient to have to do the follow up and find out no, referrals weren't sent where they should have been sent. If it happened only once I wouldn't be concerned but right now it's every time. And when asked by another physician to order a procedure the doctor either didn't read the request or just didn't care to do so. So we were left scrambling to get tests prior to a surgery. Moving on to another PCP.

Love Genesis and the entire staff. Breanne Marfisi and Jessica Arteaga ALWAYS give me excellent care.

Dr. Bobby Brown is the best. Period.

Without warning Genesis decided to no longer accept Medicare HMO! Now we no longer have a doctor. They did this 2 weeks ago without any notice. One day before our appointment we received a call to confirm our appointment and to let us know we had to pay for it! They did this knowing there is no option to change plans as open enrollment is not available. Please be aware if you have an HMO and are planning or have planned an office visit.

Every sent Dr. Canizales moved to Genesis, it’s been a series of misadventures for both my wife and I. I keep hoping they can get their act together, but no real progress thus far. My wife is ready to find another provider but I keep holding her off. We both like Canizales and It’s really a pain to find a new provider, but we can only stand so much incompetence.

The way I was talked to really hurt my feelings. I feel like going with the Genisis Group has changed Dr. Robertsons treatment of his patients. I’m really sorry to see this happen. He has been my husband and my Doctor for around 20 years and have and never ever been treated or talked to like I was the last time I saw him. Ruth Posey. 🤍Absolutely LOVE Ms. Olivia and her MA Brianna. We have seen them only twice, but both visits I felts my mothers care is in good hands. They are very patient with her and her "rambling" LOL. Her MA is very kind and sweet. We are in and out, never feel rushed, quick response on labs/messages! Definitely will continue care with them!

As a former employee if I could I would leave no stars for this company. If I would have known that this organization was as unorganized and unprofessional as they where I would have stayed with the previous company I was hired with. The provider I worked for left another prominent company and signed with GMG and because of him, and his reputation with our patients I chose to stay and go to Genesis and it was the WORST DECISION IVE EVER MADE. The office I opened with myself a receptionist and 1 provider was the first genesis location outside of Houston and to this day they run independently from the rest of the company because we had our own policies and protocols. The office manger is a little girl with a bachelor's degree, who is not clinical, and could only help our receptionist because she had no medical training and minimal knowledge. We were encouraged to further our education and once I informed them I would be doing so starting 09/2024, I was met with congratulations. I started classes provided my school schedule to my manager before Thanksgiving because I'd need a schedule change come February. By January 31 I still hadnt heard from HR, and when I went to my manager I was informed my schedule was never taken to HR due to her planning her wedding and being spread thin opening other clinics and they would not be accommodating my schedule. I even made adjustments at school to still be able to work and even those where denied. I was sent an email stating they would be terminating me affective a week from the date of the email. My rapport with our patients, my love for the Provider I followed and my empathy is what held me together but I know I can be just as capable anywhere. Just venting!!! DR TAJKHANJI IS A GREAT PROVIDER, AMAZING STAFF!!!! BUT GENESIS MEDICAL GROUP IS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!
