I've been to a lot of med spas around the San Antonio area and this one is at the top of my list. They are welcoming and friendly. The services I have had have the results I wanted and I love the Dr and his communication and willingness to spend the time with me. I've never felt like I'm just hustled in and out like I have with other places.

I’ve been going to Gruene House Med Soa exclusively for 8 years for a variety of treatments, and I’ve brought family members for even more. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Shaw and his staff. It’s the most professionally run medical spa with personal attention and customized care. They are fair, helpful, excellent at what they do, and make me feel so much better about myself. The first time I met Dr. Shaw he said, “I don’t want to make you look different, I want you to look like the best version of you.” And that’s exactly what he and his team have done for 8 years. This is not a reliable med spa. My mom was promised 2 laser treatments for a red mark on her face and it's nowhere near gone. They also did a horrible (unnoticeable) job on her lip injections. They filled literally the space between her nose and lips. Wild, while convincing her of all this other filler she needed. You'd never see this type of lack of professionally and lack of results in LA. We took a chance on this place and sadly it was a bad choice. I'd look further out for your treatments if I were you.

Crystal Arambula is amazing and super friendly. I definitely recommend her for Botox or anything else that she offers.

This is my second review of Gruene House Med Spa, and this time I'm focusing on the Brain Restore program, which offers ketamine therapy. After suffering from depression, PTSD, and anxiety--conditions linked to combat trauma as well as other personal struggles--I found that traditional treatments, including a wide array of antidepressants and over 20 years of talk therapy, provided little relief. While some patients enjoy long-lasting benefits, I understand that I may need regular maintenance sessions to keep my symptoms at bay. For me and my family, the continued improvement is absolutely worth it. The entire staff, from Dr. Shah to nurse Carly, explains every step of the process with genuine care. A qualified medical professional is with you throughout the treatment, offering both guidance and reassurance. Each session lasts about an hour to an hour and a half, and I noticed immediate relief following treatment. I was initially very skeptical about the therapy and its effectiveness, but my experience has proven me wrong. If you're dealing with similar issues and have exhausted other treatment options, I encourage you to consider ketamine therapy at Gruene House Med Spa. What do you have to lose?
