He was so wonderful, kind, and professional. Me and my husband flew from Florida to Texas to have my husbands vasectomy reversed. We had the procedure done January 2021 and almost a year later we welcomed are third baby girl in February 2022. She is almost 5 weeks old. The environment was so calm and relaxing. He took the time to talk to us and we did not feel rushed. I can not recommend Dr. Hickman enough!

I highly recommend Dr Hastings and his staff. Great location and the staff is friendly and great to work with.

Dr. Hickman and staff are absolutely amazing in every way. We had a reversal done in January of 2021 and our daughter was born March 10th 2022. Dr. Hickman was very thorough and set real expectations from the beginning, you feel the love he has for what he does and the love his staff has for what they do. I highly recommend using Dr Hickman. We flew from VA to see him, he will forever be a huge part of our life. Thank you Dr. Hickman and staff.

It was just by the Grace of God I found this office through a Google search. When I made contact with the office Pat was very helpful with explaining the procedure with different options. I went with the non anesthesia option. Dr Hickman was very professional and the Surgery Went well. The healing process went well. 3 months later my Semen analysis confirmed the surgery was a success. I’m thankful The Lord sent me to Dr Hickman’s office.

Doctor Hickman performed my husband's vasectomy reversal in March of 2020, ten years after his vasectomy, and we conceived a few months later. My daughter arrived a little early, but our original due date was exactly one year after surgery. Dr. Hickman and his staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly, and the procedure itself was very affordable. We're obviously thrilled with the outcome!

I cannot express my gratitude towards Dr Hickman! My son passed away at 13. Which was 12 years after my vasectomy. A couple years later we decided we’d like to try and have children again. So after nearly 15 years of being sterile and a lot of research, we flew to Texas and met with Dr Hickman! Best decision ever! He was extremely professional and REAL about what to expect. The success chances were low but nonetheless there would be a chance! 3 years after the reversal we were pregnant and couldn’t have been more excited! 6 years post surgery, we have 3 baby boys! Our middle baby boy, turned out God needed him more than we did at a month old, however he was born 💯 percent healthy and never experienced any issues. I’m writing this review 9 years post surgery!

We loved everything about our experience with this office. From the front office staff to the doctor. They were thorough and explained everything from start to finish. We initially were going to go with another office but once we spoke with Pat, we got such good vibes and decided to go with them. We are very happy with our decision.

My husband and I made a road trip from MN to see Dr Hickman for a vasectomy reversal back in 2012. We ran into car trouble on the way there and had to call to figure out how we’d make the surgery. He had plans the next day, but rearranged his schedule and still made time to see us!! We even needed to bring my 2yr old son, and one of his nurses entertained him so I could be with my husband during the surgery. The reversal went pretty smooth and I’m happy to say that 4 1/2 years later my husband and I were able to naturally conceive children ❤️ I’m grateful for this team and highly recommend them!

Dr. Hickman and his staff are phenomenal! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to DELIVERY. We were initially given a quote of $10,000 for my husband’s reversal. So you could imagine our skepticism when we were given such a reasonably affordable price. I don’t know about you, but we certainly didn’t have 10k on hand for an out of pocket procedure. As too good to be true as it all sounded, it was true! We came in at the earlier part of 2020 and welcomed our baby girl into the world by the the end of 2020. Talk about a quick turn around. So blessed, so grateful.

My husband and I visited Dr. Hickman’s office in May 2021. We flew all the way from Washington State because of a recommendation from a friend. If you are doing this or something similar I highly suggest that you go a few days earlier than your appointment & see what all New Braunfels has to offer.Pat at the front desk was an absolute joy to work with. She was informative, kind, and understanding. She walked us through what our day at their office would look like and thoroughly went over prep work and expectations with us. Her attitude and overall demeanor instantly made us feel like we were in good hands.Dr. Hickman was also amazing to us. He prayed over our surgery before we began, and talked us through each step right before performing it. My husband and I opted out of having him be put under, and he was informed of what was coming next during the surgery. This was super helpful and calmed his nerves in a very high stress situation. Dr. Hickman had great bedside manner and chatted and joked with us for the duration of our appointment. When everything was done, he told us he was highly confident in this surgery and had no doubt that we could get pregnant, so long as my husband followed the aftercare instructions. He sent us on our way with clear directions to the pharmacy he is partnered with, as well as recommendations for restaurants to try out.My husband and I decided to wait until fall of 2021 to try for a pregnancy, and we ended up getting pregnant at the end of August 2021 just days before we were supposed to go get a sperm count done. We are just about done with the first trimester & are due in June 2022.Our experience with Dr. Hickman and his team exceeded every expectation that we had. This is where you want to go if you want the best experience possible! Thank you Dr. Hickman for being part of our journey!
