List of Resolute Baptist Hospital's Reviews
Our family member (father and husband)has been admitted at Resolute a couple of times. He has had nurse Courtney assigned to care for him multiple times. He has praised her service every time. How thoughtful, caring, and professional she has been. Would love for Courtney to be recognized for the quality of care she provides.
The Staff and care was phenomenal. From the ER to the ICU. Doctors and nurses communicated with us the entire time and they took great care of my mom. Gina, Meredith and Dylan all ICU nurses were amazing. Dr. Vilsaint was also great, she listened to us and was very thorough. Case manager Michelle followed up with us promptly after admission to see if we had any needs. Thank you so much Resolute for taking excellent care of my mother.
RN Mario was very helpful in controlling my nausea. During my overnight stay, RN Espy and PCA Shannel provided excellent care. They were very efficient, knowledgeable, and most of all kind and patient. I am Maria Scott and was admitted June 11, 2025. Discharged June 12, 2025.
Don’t ever bring your children to this hospital for an emergency they will do nothing waste your time. They was literally say they are not obligated to do full test or go any further. only for you to head to a Children’s Hospital in Austin or San Antonio. They will do absolutely nothing to help. Even for adults, they are very unprofessional and lackeys to their administrators. They care only about the initial emergency visit payout you will have to pay which will be over $1000 for absolutely nothing done. I feel like the doctors here forgot about the oath they took. They care more about their administration and hospital policies than they do people. Don’t Go Here For Help!!!!!!
We brought my daughter here a couple of months ago because of the great reputation. Our experience was terrible. First, they were playing a movie in the waiting room that was clearly rated R with terrible cursing. Then after we were shown to the back, we waited about two hours with no updates at all. They finally stitched up my daughter and sent us on our way. She just required two stitches. We just received a bill for $4000. That’s $2000 per stitch. When I called to dispute it, they were not willing to come down at all and were extremely cold. There is no way to justify that cost for seeing us for 15 minutes and putting in two stitches. We will never return and will make sure we warn others about what they may be up against.
It was my first stay in a hospital and the staff was very kind and comforting. It was clear that they genuinely cared about my well-being. The environment was very clean, the room was spacious with large windows and even 80% of the food was delicious. I want to give a special shout out to my nurse, Addison.. she goes above and beyond to care for her patients and is personable with a sense of humor.
This was my first ever stay at a hospital, so pretty scary. The staff was warm and genuinely caring and overall, fulfilled my requests promptly. I think the negative aspect is that they have to wait on the pharmacy for all meds and that is not the most timely process. But the room was very clean, the staff very friendly, and even most of the food was tasty and healthy. Addison, my nurse, was particularly kind and gentle and she deserves a pat on the back!!
When we toured the L&D floor the administration staff told us to check-in through the ER door because it's "faster and easier for us." Having never been to this hospital, when the time came and my wife's water broke, that's exactly what she did. As a result they bill us an ER LVL IV visit rate, which is significantly higher than had we checked in through L&D (like we planned) and been sent to an L&D triage room instead. There was no urgency with the pregnancy. I consider this deliberate misdirection and I will file a grievance with the BBB and any one else who will listen unless rectified.
I have three stars because the first time I came here the doctors and staff were great. She listened to me and my concerns. Did an MRI of my head and did blood work. Gave me some amazing feedback after my results. I am now here again for a different reason. Different doctor. I explained my symptoms and what the military diagnosed me with. He told me my diagnosis was rare and then came up with a different diagnosis himself by only pressing on the side of my leg then decided to just give me some pains meds, told me he doesn’t think it’s a blood clot (doesn’t think so he actually doesn’t know) tells me I need an MRI and calls it a day. I’m here because my doctor told me to come here. If some of your doctors are only throwing pain meds at people they are doing patients a disservice. I don’t need pain meds and I told him I don’t want pain meds. I came to the ER to try and figure out what is going on with me because I’m in pain, not to just have a doctor press on my leg and tell me I need an MRI. If I need one then do one, y’all have the capability to do it. Stop just throwing meds at people, listen to them and actually help them.
I'm lucky to have such a great hospital close to me. It is always clean, the care is always terrific, and the wait is always minimal.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
