Of all the senior living place my Mom has been, this is by far the BEST! Assisted living and independent living are all like family with a friendly attentive staff
We're both in our 80's, and lived here four years. We have a nice 2 BR duplex which is very comfortable, complete with 2 bathrooms, garage, and full kitchen, laundry, and all we need. But the things that brought us are the remarkable sense of community and the friends that we started making almost immediately. Mealtimes are great, with good food, prepared and served by folks who enjoy their jobs, and great/friendly management and staff; who are personally and happily invested in every residents' comfort and satisfaction. We have a great Happy Hour every Saturday at 3:00, with live music, and full attendance. We don't plan on any changes on where we live. It's a good place!
My mom lived there for two years until her dementia determined she needed to be moved to full time memory care. It was a wonderful place. The staff was great. They interacted with the residents and knew them by name. Food was great. It's the people that make the place. We will hold on to the special memories and friends we made at Brookdale NRH. Thanks to all.
Ms. Alexa R. Did my over the phone interview. After calling over 15 minutes late, she was very rude.
Have been given good consideration to all my requests
This particular Brookdale location (NRH) has been wonderful. The staff is welcoming, the activities plentiful, the food is better than average food found in many LTC facilities, and there's a genuine sincereness in MOST of the staff wanting the Residents to be happy and well cared for. We feel so blessed that our Mother can live here!
Called 5 minutes ago for a follow up on my application I completed with them. Lady by the name of Jenna answered the phone & proceeded to yell at me stating “she’s never heard of someone calling to check on an application before.” Then began to tell me she doesn’t know anyone by my name in there who’s applied. Had me confused, I just pray that they find peace amongst their staff because it seems like a very intense place to work as far as respect goes and communication.
Care about your love ones I would NOT RECOMMEND Brookdale to anyone. My dad 94 years old a veteran live there over a year and they kicked him out when he tested positive for COVID back in November. They moved him out that night to a place 30 miles away and costs him out of pocket thousands of dollars. The CEO AND Executive Director were very unresponsive and they insisted that he continue to pay Brookdale rent even though they would not let him back in and delayed us from getting his possessions. This was the downfall for my dad who has passed away. Be very careful when signing any agreements with this company. AGAIN WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! In addition during this time someone from the facility went into his room and stole $4k, police report has been filed. As for communication in Brookdale response it does not exist. Over three weeks have gone by and no communication from management, they don’t keep their promises Now 10 months later and no follow up by any leadership at this organization. Keep your love one safe don’t let them go to this facility. On 10/18/2021, a surveyor from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) made an unannounced visit to Brookdale North Richland Hills to investigate your complaint regarding discharge rights, infection control, and administration/personnel. The surveyor conducted an investigation by inspecting the building, observing staff providing care and treatment, interviewing residents and employees, and reviewing records. Keep your love one safe don’t let them go to this facility.
My dad lived here for 3 months before he got sick and had to move on to a facility that could provide him with more care. He loved those 3 months he spent at Brookdale NRH and thought the world of the staff there who treated him like family. They even called to check on him when he was in the hospital. Big shouts out to Debbie, Amber, Tameka, Judy and Jennifer especially. Wish he could still be there.
Debbie Allen always greets EVERYONE with a smile! She has knowledge of the community and offers residents and visitors her help and ALWAYS has the right avenue and solutions to help upgrade living conditions for those she serves!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
