No one would ever call me and give me information about my Ward (Except the nephrologist). My Ward had dementia and the medical providers should have conferred with me about medical decisions. They even refused to call me for surgical consent for my Ward insisting that she sign it when she told them that the guardian was supposed to do that. It only takes a few minutes to get verbal consent.

From the moment I stepped into the ER, everyone was upbeat and compassionate. This kept me calm in an extremely emergent situation. I felt taken care of and heard.Once I was admitted, the 3rd floor staffing were just as amazing and caring. The nurses, techs, and even down to the cleaning person were all polite, dutiful, and personable. I also felt heard.I am very happy my daughter (new to the area) has such a dependable hospital close by. I was just visiting when this emergency happened at the end of my trip but everything was handled well.

Nov 19, 2021 went to visit my baby sister who is a heart patient on the 2nd floor at this place I had the worst experience. My sister states this mess has been going on since 7am that morning with a nurse that she didn't want in her room and this nurse knew that and she kelp coming back. So when I got there the male charge nurse came in with this same nurse that my sister didn't want in her room. So I witnessed the charge nurse who made matters worst by being rude with a heart patient and told my sister that she refused to give blood my sister said no I refused that nurse in her room so this male charge nurse turned and walked away. He this charge nurse knew how my sister felt about this nurse why would he put a heart patient in this position his patient should have come first this charge nurse didn't de-escalated the situation. Now another nurse came in my sister ask about her insulin in the there refrigerator so this nurse went to contact the pharmacy so it was told if not open it don't need refrigeration so my sister kelp I vile I brought the other home. So this other doctor came in with this same nurse my sister didn't wont in her room so this set my sister off I tried to say this is a heart patient they should not he cut me off and said I'm not the patient he's not talking to me again she did use a cuss word this time so he left with out knowing why or de-escalating the situation. So now a nurse came in to get the vile of insulin per the nurse the pharmacy needed a picture about 15 to 20 minutes later they didn't or haven't brought my sister insulin back my sister ask me to go get her vile of insulin so I went and ask for it back the charge nurse said it was locked up I told him why didn't they come tell her this male charge nurse was so rude to me I ask for his name and a card he did you'll he it i told him he is unprofessional he went and got his yellow water bottle out his bag open it turned toward the wall and started drinking water like I or my baby sister didn't matter to this Hospital like we are some charity case. I have never experience a Hospital visit like I was treated. The PM charge nurse (johnathan) had bedside manner he talk to my sister like she was a patient and somebody.

Everyone took good care of me while I was in the hospital. The Drs, the Surgeon, Nurses and supporting staff all did a good job! THANKS!

On Thursday I went to the emergency room stone in my gallbladder I arrived at 9:30 a.m. the nurses treated me very well and when they took me to the 6th floor, everyone from morning to night, they all treated me very well and the doctors and the amazing surgeon. Thanks for everything.
