List of Tanya Solis's Reviews
While Dr. Solis herself seems to be competent and caring, her staff is pathetic. My guess is the office manager is at the root of it all but that’s just a guess. Factually, staff turnover is excessive so cohesion is Absent as is any team function. One hand rarely has a clue what the other is doing. Most are professionally incompetent and even the simple task of writing g prescriptions is beyond them. It is a toss up of their prescriptions will be accepted or rejected for errors. Since they only serve me them at days end, there is usually no Chan e to get a correction until the next day. If it happens to be on a Friday, we’ll...The staff becomes defensive and rude if questioned and acts as though the patient is at fault for the staff’s mistakes. Even the front desk clerk is rude. Each visit is like the first due to staff turnover and no effort at all to review the record beforehand. One must endure the same extensive and mostly irrelevant questioning at least twice at each visit. Once from a screener and again from the nurse who actually preforms almost all direct patient care. Over a 2 year period I only saw Solis twice and was refused several times. The staff voiced concerns about government over sight at almost every visit. They do seem far more concerned with avoiding any attention from regulators than patient care.Over all, I would avoid this Clinic if at all possible.I cannot honestly give them more than the lowest rating.
Warm, caring, professional. I have been a patient for 11 years and highly recommend her.
Very professional I see a lot of doctors and I'm in a lot of doctor offices and this is by the far my favorite one to go to. Dr Solis and PA Cobb are both very understanding and both willing to give you the time a day I feel like I need when I'm in their office. AM
Dr. Solis and her PA (Melissa Cobb) have always answered my questions and taken the time to listen to me. Their office has always been responsive to refill requests and other issues. I will stick with them as long as they are in business.
I was a patient of Dr Solis’ partner, Dr Karen Nelson starting in 1984 following an automobile accident that resulted in an injury to my cervical spine (neck). I also sustained whiplash. The moment I walked in the clinic shared by Dr Solis and Dr Nelson I saw a sign that read, “You do not have to hurt!” I thought I was in Heaven. To make a long story short, I never had the pleasure of meeting Dr Solis, but Dr Nelson was wonderful. We tried every therapy available, and I survived her EMG; though it was unsuccessful. After more than 30 COMPLIANT years and now rarely seeing Dr Solis, I came to my appointment and reported that I was going through a lot personally including the death of my father, a possible diagnosis of an autoimmune disease, problems at work, etc I honestly admitted that I had MISPLACED some of my pain pills. Even though it was time for a refill, the assistant informs me that they can no longer see me as a patient or refill my medications. I later received a registered letter from Dr Solis that I was discharged because I took more of my medications than was prescribed. I was in moarning, emotionally distraught and as a Registered Nurse working toward my Masters Degree, totally insulted. I was caring for my dying father at home who was on much stronger drugs, Fentynl, Morphine. If I wanted to abuse drugs I had every opportunity.I later found my misplaced pills and called to notify the office. I spoke with Dr Solis’ nurse in a very polite manner telling her I do not want to be placed back into the clinic but only to let them know I did find my pills. Somehow we accidentally got disconnected. When I called back and asked to speak to the nurse again, I was told she was unavailable to come to the phone. I only want to tell my story and make sure Dr Solis is aware of the incident. After more than 30 years and no rule violations, a medical profession myself with a future, honesty; and this is what I got. This is what is in my medical record. Today, my pain is so out of control; it is difficult for me to receive the treatment I need; all because I was honest. Please do not take away my freedom to simply express what everyone else has been given the right to do. Dr Solis, the few times I did see her was wonderful, very kind. But she relied on the documentation and report of someone(s) I’m sure she trusted to make a decision that under ALL the circumstances did not hold water.
I have being seeing this doctor at this clinic for about a year and she just dropped me for no reason at all I think she got all the insurance money she wanted out of me and further more not one time did I see this doctor in person she always had different people seeing me and when i was see Dr. Cutshaw and whoever i was seeing at this clinic evertything was fine until laura nebauer which is a P.A. came to dr.cutshaw office and i strated seeing her they started some conversation with oneanother which is a P.A. by shooting notes to one another because they both are under the same clinic which I think is against the hippa law so if you consider going to this place make sure you sign a privacy form because the clinic in GRAPELAND texas is owned by christus trinty clinic and the one she is at in Palestine texas is owned by the same clinic and they can't give me not one reason why Dr.Solis can't no longer see me i think it was a money thing that my opinion
Wow. Was referred to Solis after 2 neck surgeries. Made an appt 5 weeks ago. Was asked for insurance and told them I had to self-pay. Was told the cost and appt was set for today at 1:30 PM. Yesterday at 2:36 PM they called to confirm and told me to be there 15 minutes early and to bring my Ins card. I told them again I was self-paying and appt was confirmed. At 2:49 PM was told appt was cancelled, couldn't see me because SHE ONLY ACCEPTS INS, NOT SELF-PAY. Wasted 5 weeks waiting for help...
Dr Solis used to be a very caring Dr, that has changed, seems she has cratered to Gov regulations and over sight all while neglecting her patients. She all but told me to find another DR on last visit, so today I got a letter saying she terminated me. All because I had a medicine giving to me at the ER, So if you see Dr Solis you are banned from going to the ER and receiving medication for a life threatening headache. Her staff used to be pleasant, now they have become witches, just plain nasty.
Hands down, best doctor I've been to. Dr. Solis has gone above and beyond in heping to find answers on what was wrong with me. Fast appointments, caring staff and very thorough. I feel so thankful to have found such an excellent doctor that has truly gone out of her way to help get me the diagnosis and pain relief I need.
I have been very pleased with the care I received in this office. I transfered my care from my initial Dr in Dallas where I was referred by my surgeon. I was very happy with the transfer. The office made me feel like an individual not just another patient. She really listened and cared about the type of pain I was having related to an accident. I am very happy with my decision to transfer.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
