Horrible experience. I brought my 2 year old son in at 12:30 am bc he had gotten a bug bite that gotten infected and was having a fever and throwing up . He was in a lot of pain and couldn’t sleep. When I walked in there was just a security at the desk and we waited for a hour to be seen. Mind you there was just one other family in the waiting room and I got there before they did and they got seen first . As a mother this is unacceptable. Never will I ever take myself or my family to this place again

The wait time was to be triaged wasn't bad. Everyone was extremely friendly and prompt. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and care. I really have no complaints, from check in, to the phlebotomist, CT and X ray techs, the nurses and doctors Qureshi and Gupta were amazing!

Unfortunately, over the last few years I’ve lost my mom after a short illness. My wife has had a few issues with health as well. This provided the opportunity to have to visit surrounding hospitals. I can tell you with all my heart that I have experienced several facilities over the years and Houston Methodist is one of the best, that really cares, that is thorough, and treats you like family. When you’re leaving and the hospital staff is giving hugs and fond farewells it leaves you with a sense of peace during tough times. They also know what they are doing in medicine! We are all going to experience heartache, loss, and pain at times and it’s comforting knowing the Houston Methodist is always open!

I received care and attention to the details when I arrived at Methodist Emergency. From check in to completion of my treatment everyone showed compassion and concern and applied their help and support to ensure that I was taken care of. It was their attention to detail that made me feel cared for during my stay. Great service.

First thing I asked when I walked in was if they had xray and MRI available at this location. Lady at the front desk said yes. My son was seen and the doctor then tells us no they don't have a MRI machine available here. I would have taken him to a different ER if the front desk lady hadn't misinformed me. Instead I am getting this ER bill, and then I still had to go to another facility to get the MRI and pay there too. When I asked the front desk lady why she said yes when they don't have MRI here, she told me "oh I heard xray and just answered yes, but didn't listen to the rest of what you said". I gave her both the primary insurance and secondary insurance information. Now I'm receiving a bill for $999 a month and a half later saying they don't have any of my insurance information on record. The doctor we saw was wonderful, but not dealing with the front desk here again. Won't be back. Update: and all I get in response is a copy and paste answer saying please call us and waste more of your time sitting on hold. Zero effort. 👎🏻
