Fraudulent charges and average service. Visit 02/22/22 was for a skin check for pre-cancer and cancer screening. I asked questions about 2 growth and since they were deemed benign, asked for the cash price to have them removed - paid $125 just for the removal. Still they submitted to the insurance (higher pay than cash) and then asked me to pay for the additional unpaid portion. I have been battling their billing department non-sense. Bottom line not going back. If you decide to go there, asked for a detailed receipt especially if you ask to pay cash.
I have no idea what’s going on with this place. Every individual who works here has no idea what’s going on. Wait time is long even though no one is around, they can’t send of prescriptions correctly on time or to the right pharmacy, and the quality of care is lacking because you leave with more questions. I’ve gone here multiple times out of convenience, but I don’t think I can do it anymore. Go somewhere else to save your time and sanity.
Dr balaraman was nice one star for her ..but medical assistants of her is not at all responsible .I seen the doct on March 3rd and I waited for a prescription for 1 month ..when ever I call the medical assistant won't even reply my call ..and front office lady put my call on hold for hours ..I believe this the worst place I have ever visited in my entire life ..being a medical professional am ashamed to say this..hire professional and responsible staff..and please investigate on my case.. Details of my visit and what happened will be shared when management call me. Even the management has not responded yet..shame on entire facility.
This place has really gone downhill, trying to get an appointment is nearly impossible. I had an appointment scheduled, and the day of was told the provider wouldn't be there that late in the day and I'd have to be rescheduled. Tried to reschedule for the next day and was told it was at another location which I wouldn't be able to drive to. Was told I'd have to wait for a call back to have my appointment rescheduled. Never got that call back. This is so frustrating, I've gone here for years and never had issues like this. But of course when I'm having really bad side effects to a medication I'm taking - that was prescribed to me from the doctor here - I'm unable to get in. So I guess if I were to go blind it would be okay for them. Nope, I'm going to see a different doctor somewhere else. And give my money someplace that actually cares!
Great staff!
Had a horrible experience trying to get prescribed on accutane here. It took weeks of back and forth following up with them to do their next step in the process and I ended up having to redo the accutane process. Getting prescribed accutane requires following a tight window deadline for blood work, pregnancy tests + other requirements to be met and once you’re cleared you have a timeframe to pickup the medicine from the pharmacy. If you miss this window you have to wait another month and restart the process. Well I was at the step in the process where my prescription was sent to my local pharmacy but when I called to see if the medicine was ready to be picked up it wasn’t because I needed authorization from my insurance to justify the prescription. My pharmacy let me know that I needed to call my dermatologist and ask that they fill out an authorization form and send it to my insurance so the pharmacy can release the medicine. When I called Skin Associates Pearland, the person they redirected me to wasn’t helpful at all and didn’t know what form I was referring to they also said “I already did my part”. I ended up missing the pickup window and had to wait a month to restart the process. I restarted the process with them but ran into the same problem so literally on the last day of the pickup window I ended up making an appointment with my old dermatologist who was able to get me the prescription the same day I saw her just by picking up where I left off in the accutane process and getting all my test results transferred all I had to do was switch providers on iPledge and they did their part. I have not been back to Skin Associates Pearland since!
Used to love this place. Now I’m going on two weeks without my biopsy results. I’ve left one voicemail and spoke with one girl directly to no avail.
Billing incorrect, unjustifiable and dishonest! They will lure you to come into their facility thinking you’re there to see a doctor and when you arrive it’s someone less qualified. I made an appointment to see Dr. Steven, when I got there went to the back another employee showed up. I asked where is Dr. Steven and they said he no longer works at this facility. This is unacceptable and very sneaky. If I’m paying to see someone I expect to see that person. In a nutshell they want me to pay for a follow up visit with someone else not the Doctor I thought I was going to see. Ariel the manager is unethical and unfair to customers. Be careful with this facility.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
