Texas Skin Center's Online Review Report Card

Made an appointment with Dr. Sedrak about 6 weeks ago. It had been rescheduled by him twice already when I showed up for my appointment. I was told by the receptionist “Your appointment is cancelled on my end”. When I told her I had not cancelled, that the doctor had rescheduled my appointment twice, she said she’d see what she could do. She left her desk for about 5 minutes, came back and said I’d need to reschedule. AGAIN. There was NOBODY..NO ONE in the waiting room. Be direct instead of disrespectful. If you don’t want me as a patient/customer just say that…instead of stringing me along. I could have already been seen by someone else by now. Ridiculous.

Very bad experience provider could not change the prescription. Patient in pain for 5 days and called 10 times none of them contacted.

This was my first time going to a skin center ever and it was unprofessional and way to expensive. The website tells you to book your appointment online and I did and the prices were way cheaper online than when I went in person, then when I arrive early for my appointment just to be on time, the receptionist tells me, they do not have my name or booking information in the system, well why does this company have the website up and tell you to book to confirm and you get updated text messages to confirm your appointment and when you are in person, it’s a different price and a different story. Then one of the doctors were rushing me to come to the back for a first time visit when I told her I wasn’t done with my paper work yet, obviously she is in the field for the wrong choice at hand. Also, the receptionist said no facials, but they have all type of skin facials posted on the website and they scheduled me at a time that they break for an hour lunch. I canceled all my appointments and left and never going back, BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!

I strongly recommend that if you care about your health you DO NOT use Ms. Garland or anyone at Texas Skin Center. I was suffering with what was later found out to be a skin infection. I was sitting the examination room while Ms. Garland chose to research why my labs didn't come back rather than dealing with the sick person in the examination room. She never examined me and the next day I ended up in the hospital. Which was a blessing because the medical professionals at the hospital discovered the infection and treated me accordingly. If the negligent staff at Texas Skin Center had continued with my treatment based upon the medicine they were trying to prescribe to me which specifically says do not take the medicine if there is an infection present. I might not be able to send this review to warn others.

incompetent office staff, charged $350 co pay by mistake and claimed they did not send charge through but they did. Incompentent office staff -impossible to get hold of RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN

I was able to book an appointment easily and their availability was so quick, I didn’t have to wait weeks to be seen! The staff and dermatologist were very informative and professional. I highly recommend this practice!

Wonderful Doctor, nurse, and office staff. I am totally satisfied and highly recommend TSC.

Never answer the phone. They also try to scam you with cancellation fees and unwarranted bills. Their main MD also left under mysterious circumstances. Stay away!
