He rushed through my physical. Was rude and uninterested in any concerns I had. Took over a week to get back to me on blood work that I had to follow up on a few times. There were areas of concern and elevated levels confirmed by my blood work and he brushed me off arrogantly as if not big deal. He didn’t address standard tests that need to get done at my age. It was just an awful experience by a dr who clearly doesn’t care about his patients. If I was on my death bed and he was the only dr available I would be very nervous!

Dr. Averitt was very rude and condescending when speaking to me. First time meeting him and didn’t even want to listen to my lungs, saying, “I can’t take away your symptoms”. This doctor has lack of empathy, patient care and listening skills. Definitely do not recommend. Asked for advice on vitamins, said there’s no research evidence to proof they help. This doctor provided no medical knowledge or treatment yet, of course, he still charged for the visit. Don’t waste your time with this man.Dr. Averitt was very rude and condescending when speaking to me. Absolutely awful! I am beyond shocked he has his medical degree. Unable to answer generic questions related to anxiety and then when I let him know I was ready to wean off my medication- he patronized me and said that wasn’t a good idea. So much more of him of not able to give BASIC information. Acted inconvenienced and annoyed that I wasn’t a 2 min appointment looking for a pill prescription.

He is a good Doctor. I was not aware that He could prescribe certain Pain Medications that I need for Nerve Pain and Stenosis of the Spinal column.
