Patient Review We had a second opinion appointment with Dr. Ji and it went great. She spent over an hour with us explaining everything in detail and thoroughly examined my son. We are now switching to her as our primary GI doctor.
Dismissive Brought my teen in to see Dr Ji. She was very dismissive of the symptoms that we expressed to her my teen has been experiencing since January. So this could potentially help someone else - my kid’s symptoms were abdominal pain, nausea, chest pain, dizziness, spotting and occasional backache. Dr Ji was dismissive from the start and expressed that not all these symptoms were GI related, wasn’t sure what it could be - she guessed maybe acid reflux and suggested we see a GI Psych. We expressed to Dr Ji the severity of her symptoms and that since it’s been 2 months - we asked her if there was any further examination we could do. She refused.THANKFULLY we had another appt with a OBGYN since we needed to address the spotting issue. The OB ordered a Pelvic AND Abdominal Ultrasound which showed that my daughter had gallstones. She is now seeing Dr Annette Whitney is who was significantly more compassionate and took our case seriously. As a Pediatric GI, please do better.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
