Best eye doctor ever! Always listens to my concerns

Dr. Rast has been my doctor for over 15 years. As I have aged, and developed an astigmatism, it has become more difficult to get the correct monovision contacts for my eyes. The perseverance of Dr. Rast has been phenomenal! He did not give up finding the right contacts for me. It is awesome to see correctly! I highly recommend him and his staff for your vision needs.

I've been going to Dr Rast for years. The entire staff is professional and thorough. Dr Rast takes the time to be sure that all my questions are answered and that I'm comfortable with any changes that are made.

Love Dr Rast, he takes his time to answer all your questions and concerns with out rushing you. He has been my doctor for 8 years. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great eye doctor. The whole office is very professional and have always made my glasses right for me.

I have quite a few eye problems, but the one I needed the most help with was seeing double. I found out the causeis it was not neurological in nature but the shape of my eyes, and Dr. Rast was able to fit me with hard contacts. It was amazing the first time I put them on, I could actually see clearly. Dr. Rast is very thorough and so nice! The whole staff is awesome!

Unfortunately, my review of the office is much different than others. I went in with my 2 children today and our appointment took over 2 1/2 hours. The Doctor we saw was wonderful, but I was shocked when my contact exam bill was presented. Without informing us of the different "types" of exams available, they upgraded my contact exam to a "premium" exam. With my insurance, it cost well over twice what I have previously been charged. I was not notified of the difference in types of exams or that there was any type of price difference. When I was obviously upset by not being notified, I received a blank stare and no additional conversations were presented. In the past, an office has taken the time to go over our insurance coverage, and work within the limits to the best of their ability. They were not adding in charges or upgrading our exams or merchandise without fully informing us ahead of time. Today, I discovered that was not standard practice among offices. We came on a recommendation from a friend, but sadly, I will not be making this office our new eye care home.

I have moved all over the north dallas area. A couple of times in the last 13 years. Twice saw doctors closer to where I had moved and regreted it. Dr Rast is the best. I drive from North of Denton to see him wether he's in my current insurance plan or not. There is no one better. He is well educated and gives easy to understand explinations and cost effective solutions to issues that high priced specialists have not given my family answers for. I have never had to take a pair of glasses back to be re-made that I have purchased there like I have had to most other places. All around a great level of care.

Excellent Dr. He was my 2nd opinion & I stayed with them.
