Good experience
If you are older and wanting just cataract removal Brooks would be ok. I had toric lens implants while having a high level of astigmatism. I was never able to see following the procedure. No acknowledgement of my situation by Dr Brooks and zero continued care by one person at the facility. It is too large of a place with way too many employed. They herd folks through there like cattle. Three months later of not being able to see I am now getting my eyes fixed someplace else. Worst experience ever.
I appreciate doctors who considers your time. Fast and efficient service. Everyone was super nice and I’m happy with my results!
Couldn't ask for a more professional and caring surgeon. Dr. Brooks fully explained procedures for my care and the follow up care. Dr. Brooks has been my go-to eye care since 2014. I couldn't have asked for a more qualified surgeon. Thank you Dr. Brooks.
I urge caution and much consideration before getting eye surgery, especially at this office. I had always heard nothing but great reviews about it but it hasn't worked out for me. I had 20/10 vision all my life. I was a career Navy pilot for 20 years. At 40 something I had to get readers because of the normal aging process but I could still see perfectly. As cataracts began to grow in my 60's, there was noticeable blurring of bright lights at night, so when a doctor told me to get the surgery, I envisioned a return to my youthful days as that was exactly what the Dr said . I succumbed to the sales pitch for premium lenses that would "allow me to see near and far perfectly without glasses" just like I did when young. After paying the $8400, I ended up with 20/40 vision in one eye and for a period of time 20/400 (legally blind) in the other. After a year and 9 months of repeated visits, drops, PRK, LASIK and finally demanding a referral to a specialist, the best I have is 20/40 with ver

After a year and 9 months of repeated visits, drops, PRK, LASIK and finally demanding a referral to a specialist, the best I have is 20/40 with very bad star burst vision and the inability to read after about 30 minutes due to floaters in my eyes. I cannot sharply focus on some far objects at times. I could barely pass my driver’s license eye test much less an FAA vision test. I had run out of options and Dr Brooks insisted that YAG procedures would be the best corrective action. The YAG did no good and although told by the Dr prior to the procedure that lens replacements would be possible, that option is now described as very likely to cause further damage my eyesight and is not recommended. Be very wary. Consider waiting for as long as you can and do not expect the hype regarding premium lenses to be your final result.
Dr Brooks and his staff helped me feel so comfortable about my Cataract surgery. I can see great! Thank you Dr Brooks and staff!
Great people and very professional!!!
The facility was lovely, the staff was wonderful. I felt comfortable and in good hands
Michelle helped with the appointment for my wife and I. Such a sweet person, lots of patience in scheduling our appointment with cray criteria's. She set some high standards and I hope the Doctors would live up to it :D :D :D... Looking forward for my eye exam, will share my experience after the visit.okie dokie... happy to share my experience during my visit. People I came across in this practice were all kind. Starting with front desk staff, Fransico who took care of my initial examination and finally Dr Miller like cherry on top. Thanks all, will cya next year.
Brook eye is the best all round eye surgeon in the DFW area, located off Sam Rayburn Hwy 122 between Independence and Coit on the North side of the Hwy121 in Plano! You can’t go wrong with him and his staff which is always polite , and helpful. They even refunded more than $500 after I over paid. Best experience ever!
Wonderful experience at every moment. Staff are friendly and professional. The atmosphere in the building was great, help was available at every turn. Every step was explained to the level even I could understand! All the steps in the process was explained so there were no surprises. I had zero pain during the procedure or afterwards. My worse discomfort would be wearing the protective eye shield at night, my own quirk! Next day I had 20/20 close vision and 20/25 distance, and it’s still improving! Looking forward to Retuning for my second eye in the morning. I would highly recommend Dr Brooks and his staff to anyone in need of their services.
My experience at Brooks Eye Associates was outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Dain Brooks and his associates for cataract surgery. This is an energetic and very organized practice.. Folders were provided with clear instructions for pre and post surgical care. The atmosphere was professional and supportive. Many thanks to Dr. Brooks and his team for a successful surgery. I can see!

The staff was wonderful. I am very pleased with everyone, especially the doctor.
Everyone there was very nice and knowledgeable. Didn’t have to wait long in waiting room before being taken back for appointment Very clean!!
I’ve only had my first appointment prior to lens replacement in both eyes, but I am very impressed with both the facility and the staff. The facility is new, clean and modern. If has all of the equipment necessary to test and evaluate virtually every kind of vision problem. The staff, from the reception desk to the clerks to the medical technicians to the doctors are friendly, upbeat and professional.Bottom line - I trust them with my eyes.
Excellent
Amazing facility. Efficiently run. Competent staff. Dr. Rebecca Miller is very thorough.I have recently been under two other doctors care. Neither one diagnosed the problem.
Dr. Dain Brooks and his staff are courteous and efficient and explain everything. I totally felt at ease and trusted him to remove my cataracts.
