List of Dale D Burleson's Reviews
I have been under Dr. Dale Burleson's care for many years now. He is the best! He's easy to talk to, ask questions and has a great bedside manner. I trust his knowledge and expertise.
By far one of the worst experiences Ive had with a doctor. I felt like a dollar sign rather than a patient. It started with a near hour long wait in the back (not exaggerating), Dr. Burleson finally enters the room and after a quick finger up the @ss and a few inappropriate comments he was gone. After waiting patiently all this doctor could spare was 5 minutes with me. Needless to say as soon as I left the building I was on the phone getting a referral for a second opinion. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jefferson Hurley, he will treat you AND your time with respect and compassion. Within 2 weeks after seeing Dr. Hurley I had the colonoscopy. Dr. Burleson couldn’t offer anything sooner than 2+ months away. Look elsewhere
Dr. Burleson has a very calm and warm spirit about him which is great. When explaining my procedure he provided the pros and cons and assured me all would be well. While in the hospital recovering I learned he had worked on fellow colleagues and their family members which confirmed that I was in great hands. Thank you Dr. Burleson. You’re the best!
Dr. Burleson performed my emergency right hemicolectomy. He is a talented colon and rectal surgeon. I strongly recommend him to anyone.
Waited over an hour in the waiting room and after a conversation I asked, “so is he just late to his appointments everyday”. She said yes.
Saved my life.
Dr. Burleson is an excellent Doctor & Surgeon. He is attentive and very responsive to questions before and after a procedure. Staff at his office are pleasant and professional. Very satisfied!
Thank you, Dr. Burleson, for the care you provide for our patients. We really appreciate you!
I recently had major surgery with Dr. Burleson. As a surgeon myself, I feel like I have a unique perspective of being on both sides of the physician-patient relationship. Some surgeons have great bedside manner. Some surgeons are skilled in the operating room. Very few surgeons have both and this is where Dr. Burleson lands. He is respectful, informative, confident but not cocky, and backs it up with outstanding surgical technique. He ensures you are comfortable with the plan of care and never feel rushed. For those reviews complaining about time waiting, this is part of seeing a surgeon. Some days we run late from a more complex surgery than was anticipated, other delays in the operating room out of our hands, or an emergency in the ER. Sometimes a patient before you in clinic is being told of a new cancer diagnosis. You wouldn't want a surgeon to rush on you or your loved one. If you go to a surgeon that isn't busy, they are not busy for a reason.
I have been a patient of Dr. Burleson for more than 10 tears . I don't remember the the first I year I became a patient. He has preformed all of the Colonoscopies' I have had and a Fistulotomy. He has preformed the last few Colonoscopies my wife has had. I have been working with his PA on a issue but as of today My wife and my self will never return to his office. The personnel that set his appointments are terrible and rude. My wife needed the colonoscope. Cancel the appointment OK. He must approve of the procedures his personnel use or they would not be using them! I am sure we will be able to find another Doctor some where in the North Dallas, Plano, Frisco area.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
