I was not looking forward to having my gallbladder removed, but Dr. Cione and staff of health professionals made my experience super phenomenal . Post OP I didn't have to fill my prescriptions for pain . Superior +++++ experience !

Dr. Cione was great. He listened to my concerns. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They properly informed me about the surgery. Highly recommend to anyone with the need for a general surgeon.

Dr Cione was very friendly, and professional, answered questions completely, and took time to explain the surgical procedure and post-op care in detail. He gave information regarding diet to follow post-op. Follow-up visit was again was very informative and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this physician.

Initial visit - staff was very accommodating and friendly. Dr. Cione was very precise and spoke in clear and understandable manner regarding the procedure. He was very patient considerate in answering all my questions. The procedure went as described. All of the nurses, anesthesiologist, and surgeon were exceptional in all aspects of prep to recovery. I highly recommend this practice.

I was referred to Dr. Cione by my PCP for a general surgery. He’s very prompt and informative. I love that he prayed for me before my surgery and answered all questions. He’s very positive and his energy is amazing. His staff is equally as great as he is. They called to check on me afterwards and everything. Best experience ever for something that can be so scary.

Had one big hiatal hernia, went to the dr. to get evaluated. He reviewed, confirmed and found another one that needed repair. He was very straightforward and let me know this would be painful for 3-5 days, but would be better shortly thereafter. Once I got the surgery done, he was great and told me that I had 4 hernias that he repaired. I didn't hurt for day 1 and 2, but day 3-5 were painful. He provided adequate medication to help with the pain, but I opted to get off everything day 3. I followed all instructions and I am in week 2 and feel great. I had my follow-up earlier this week and everything is healing as expected. Dr. Cione and team provided an honest assessment, did a great job and I am on the road to recovery and feeling great 14 days out of the procedure. He and his crew at Texas Health are amazing. You are in good hands.

Dr Cione is one of the best doctors I have had any experience with. Bedside manor is excellent as Dr Cione and his staff treat you like family. They are helpful, kind, professional and thorough. From my first visit to post op I couldn’t have been made more satisfied and cured!
