I would not visit this practice again if I was literally on fire. Was referred to one doctor but he was busy skiing so his partner did the skin graft surgery. After surgery, went to see that doctor after 48 hours and he was busy buying a house. I NEVER ACTUALKY SAW ANOTHER DOCTOR AGAIN. Saw 3 different PA’s over 3 weeks. The last one literally asked me if the graft was my skin or synthetic. I mean really, if he could not tell by the wound and the scar left on my leg where they took the skin…he could have at least read the chart. They tried to charge me over $100,000. Referred it to insurance and they initially declined because the doctor tried to bill them for tens of thousands of dollars for things they did not do. Files a complaint with Medical City and after 90 days, of course they wrote me a letter saying basically: “we see nothing unusual, but we did have a ‘conversation’ with the doctor. Literally, the only redeeming quality of this practice…and I do emphasize “practice”…was the office staff. Everyone else was from somewhere else; not here. In the end, I wasted thousands of dollars in co-pays, wasted 4 weeks of office visits and in the end, the reject Pa that did not know if the graft was real or. It ended up pulling it off. It is factually true that 50% of all doctors finish in the bottom half of their class…there are several here.
