Dr. Richards is the best physician that I have ever been to. He actually cares, is a good listener, is extremely knowledgeable and is always helpful.

My sister is apparently slowly dying from a tumor in her brain. This doctors only job was to sign an authorization form so she could get it removed, over 30 days later, still no signed document.. literally a 1 min signsture.. no contact info, no one to call, no one to answer.. we call every day for 30 days, and keep getting the run around.. a coordinator will call us back, but they don't know the coordinators name.. it's truly a mind boggling joke to them! I'll take this down as soon as my sister gets the attention she desperately deserves!

FRAUD ALERT!!! Please nobody go for annual physical at this place here. I checked previous review now and found the same experience as mine. I have free annual physical from my insurance every year. This year I chose Dr Richards. I walked in to the office after knowing it’s a in-network location and scheduled for annual physical. They took my blood and asked me to come after 1 week. I went after a week they gave me my results. Since it’s annual physical it should be covered by my insurance but no Dr Richards says my 1st day of visit won’t fall under annual physical and it’s a regular visit. They have charged me 270$. Also during annual physical the doctor told they’ll clean my ears and put some water and blocked my ears. I was like that for a week. I was not able to hear anything from one of my ears. I called them to ask why they call me in again and then says it’s dangerous please go to ENT specialist and they charge me 150$ for this visit where they did nothing!! Literally nothing! Now I go to ENT specialist they says someone has pushed your ear wax to the ear drum and they remove it. It pained a lot and now I paid 250$ for ENT doctor to get that removed. Total waste of money. I lost 670$ in total where it shouldn’t have costed me a penny!! Horrible experience!!

Visited back in late April for a physical and initial consult. Came back a week later to pick up lab results. Paid my copay for the first visit and wasn’t asked to pay anything for the second, as I was just picking up results. Almost 4 months later I’m sent a $246 bill for “previous visit” for the visit date of when I picked up lab results.

Dr. Richards is a great doctor but who he works for is absolutely not, which made me very disheartened about going back to him for my care. Village Medical will SCAM you and bill codes to charge you even when you have asked all your questions and clarified coverage. My apologies for being extremely triggered by healthcare in the US, either its money hungry insurance companies or providers/clinics. I checked with the list of in-network providers before I scheduled with them. Also given that I was scheduling a Wellness Check, I knew my insurance covers that 100%. Now I have a bill for $600+ and counting Upon asking for clarification from Village Medical, they told me it was for the first visit, and billed as a general appointment, whereas I specifically scheduled an appointment for a Wellness Check, and asked them if all of these appointments were a part of the Wellness Check each time I showed up. Highly advise you to find a more transparent clinic who are not trying to scam folks.

Dr. Richards is an amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, caring, and overall a wonderful doctor. He’s great at providing advice and helping with your medical needs. He’s a great listener too, which I have never found with any other doctor. I just wish that I could be his patient for years to come.

Dr. Richards is the best doctor that I have ever experienced. He is caring, friendly, knowledgeable, offers great advice and is a wonderful listener. I hope that I can be his patient for years to come. He is truly amazing, and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.

Dr Richards has been my PCP for about a year and a half. He is very personable, takes time to listen and has always been very prompt. I was very sad to learn today that he has left to move to another state.
