Dr. Barrington told me I needed a partial knee replacement after reviewing my X-rays. I told him I had very little pain and he said it was common for thin people to not experience much pain. When we left his office I noticed on his notes the reason for my knee replacement : pain and overweight. My stats on that same sheet of paper: Height - 5ft.4.25in: Weight 118 lbs.;BMI 20.1. This was the first of many times I experienced Dr. Barrington not being truthful. My biggest complaints: he doesn't listen to his patient and he's not truthful. My father was a surgeon and my daughter is a surgeon. I have always being an advocate for doctors. This is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a bad review.

Nice to have a doctor who cares and listens to you. Give a very complete exam and takes the time to explain everything to you. He replace my brother’s hip and my sister-in-laws knees. Would recommend Dr Barrington to anyone. Wish I had gone to him a long time ago.

I knew from my first appointment that I wanted Dr. Barrington to do my knee replacements. I now walk 2-2 1/2 miles everyday with no pain thanks to his skill as a surgeon and passion for delivering excellent medical care.

My husband was told to be at the surgery center at 10:45am for a partial knee replacement surgery by Dr. Barrington. I took him on time. At 3pm I was notified he was just being taken into surgery. When Dr. Barrington called to say he had finished the surgery, I asked if he apologized to my husband for keeping him waiting 4 hours. He dismissed me, he denied the length of time he was late although the nurse called when he was being taken into surgery so I knew the correct time of start of surgery. If you expect to be treated with respect, find another Orthopedic Surgeon.
