Back again. After last exam my dr stated a more invasive exam needed to help understand his diagnosis better. So his nurse called and gave me options for day/time for exam. As before Medical City sent my online checkin which saves a lot of time when you show up. Processing through registration quick and easy again and I was being preped before I knew it. Nursing staff very courteous and efficient. Once dr arrived we discussed what was going to happen, his expectations and likely outcome. Very informative and understandable. Be sure to have your trusted partner and/or patient advocate there to hear it all and ask questions you might not consider. Exam room was chilly (a good thing) but staff kept me covered up. They were very efficient and took 'time out' safety moment to make sure everyone was in agreement what was going to happen. Exam took no time at all since I was sedated and back in recovery room within 30 minutes. I stayed there for a time to make sure there were no adverse reactions to exam. I got verbal and written post-exam instructions which helped as was still woozy from exam and my patient advocate heard them as well. Wheelchair ride out front door. As before this was an outpatient procedure so I was in good shape for procedure. Those arriving for injury/illness are going to have different experience. Go with it.
We walked into the er and within 3 minutes we were being triaged and taken to a room. Heather came in immediately and did a history. She was very caring and kind. Next The dr came in and told us he would try and make my daughter comfortable, and boy did he. Less than 30 minutes after we got here she was feeling so much better. If you ever consider going to a stand alone care center, don't. They cannot provide you the level of care an Emergency Room can. I am not always a fan of er's, however Medical City ofPlano did and outstanding job of making our daughter feel better.
My wife and I just had our first baby here at Medical City Plano. This labor department is rated #1 place in Collin county for having babies and I understand why! Our two nurses, Angela and Gin, as well as our doctor, Dr. Coronado were by far and away the best in the business! They were incredible in every way imaginable. They were very informative, funny, and highly intelligent which made our experience a true joy! They stayed a full hour late to make sure everything went perfectly with baby after delivery. They truly were a great blessing to my wife and I as well as our new baby girl! If I could give these 3 a 6 star review I would!
My wife and I just delivered a baby this week at medical city Plano. Every person from nurses, hospital staff, doctors, you name it were amazing. Their level of care and expertise is second to none. Even though we were only there a few days we are going to miss all the people who helped us deliver our healthy baby boy. Thank you so much labor and delivery, nursery, postpartum and all who were apart of this life changing week. We will see you on the next one.

Thank you to all the nurses especially Shannon, Aroon, Ron, MaryAnn, Judy and Edith the care I received words can't explain I wanted for nothing they were on top of it all ! I did not think I would walk let alone go up a flight of stairs again, butthanks to this team of therapist they proved me wrong and showed me that "No"was not an option and they all worked diligently with me everyday until I reached my goals! I started out only able to walk 3 feet and barely walk up one step and within 3 weeks they had me walking 25-50 ft and up 12 steps mind you I have a fracturedleft leg and on oxygen due to covid in January! I could not have asked for anything more! Thanks Medical City Plano and staff for superb care!
I have no words for the wonderful RN's that I spoke to. From the Charge RN that had to tell me my Mom was gone. To all the time they allowed me to cry over my mom. Also to all those supervisors on the skeleton crew. Y'all listened to me and honored my request. I'm in deep pain, but I feel a bit more relieved.
Great staff make a great hospital. They are never pretentious or condescending. Very friendly and informative. I often find mechanics and doctors to have the same attitude even though they may not have the same aptitude. Never feels that way here:
Thank you SO much for the excellent care during my recent stay. Services were top notch and I couldn't speak more highly of their nursing staff. A special thanks to 7th floor nurses Stephanie, Crystal and Mallory!
Unbelievably fast, caring and friendly. I honestly didn't know that hospitals could be this good. Today I took a friend who was having chest issue to the ER. She was checked, in a room, being attended to in minutes. Her pain was managed and the staff was so friendly and hospitable that we wondered if maybe they were helping themselves to a few pain meds. But in all seriousness, they were fantastic. We were seen very quickly, everything was handled with incredible professionalism and hospitality. And, the doctor figured out what the issue was, gave her the necessary meds and she left feeling 10X better than when we got there. I can only say: Thank you!!!
I just want to thank all of the nurses, doctors and others who helped to take care of me during my 2 day stay. I couldn't have asked for a more caring, compassionate team.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
