ER staff was excellent and seemed very knowledgable as they kept in constant communication with my family and I. The nurses even used a sonogram machine to place an IV. I was thoroughly impressed and would go back there again if there was ever a need.
My husband was admitted this afternoon! The staff was fantastic, we couldn't have asked for better care. Our main nurse was funny, wonderful, and you could tell she really cared. She made sure my husband was handed off at the end of her shift properly, staying well past her shift end time to introduce him to his new nurse (who seems equally wonderful).
The medical staffs and doctor here are professional and courteous. My mom received excellent care from the time ambulance delivered her to the ER till she was discharged. The tests they did were extensive. They were able to pinpoint the exact cause of my mom's problem. She was able to go home in a couple of hours. We are grateful. They even called us up a week after she was home to follow up how she was doing. High recommended.
The staff treats their patients with love and care. They work as a team , I recommend anyone to seek emergency medical treatment, to go to the Medical Center of Plano Emergency Room.
Excellent care, everything was very pleasant clean and professional thank you Medical City Plano
I went to have therapy after my breast cancer surgery and radiation. My therapist been Donna Koskan. Not only I will recommend her for highly professional quality as lymphatic therapist, but she will heal your body and mind with compassion and understanding. She's very passionate about her work and dedication to her patients.
My family member has been falling been in several ERs in the area they would treat the injuries from the falls and release them. This time they were to Medical City Plano ER . The doctor realized there was something wrong that was causing the falling. She admitted them and got them the help they needed. The care and treatment was amazing and so are the people that work there
BOTTOM LINE: This is written for a first time visitor or patient going through the outpatient clinic. If you go there as a trauma case or overnight illness or injury situation your experience will be different. I have driven by many times but this was my first visit inside for treatment as a referral from the Heart Place. Best access to parking coming off Coit Road is via American Drive (traffic light) which brings one in from the north. To find Registration (admission) go through Emergency entrance to the counter. Check in with the desk clerk. The desk clerk will give you a computer tablet to sign in online. Wear your glasses if needed or have your patient advocate read them to you. They are quite extensive. I strongly urge the patient to have someone with them to advocate and listen to the staff/dr. instructions. If you are being treated it's best to have another pairs of ears to hear what's said and read instructions by someone not coming off an anesthetic. The outpatient clinic was very quick and efficient to prep me for the procedure. The clinic and hallways were very chilly but the hospital provided blankets, socks and flannel medical gown to keep one warm. All of the staff were very polite and courteous. My procedure went well and back in recovery by noon were the hospital provide a chicken sandwich, iced tea and best chocolate chip cookie. I left in a wheelchair per hospital policy. Those legal drugs leave one a bit too woozy to walk out.
I was skeptical of delivering my baby here based on reviews, since I could have chosen either this hospital or Texas Presby Plano, and I was more inclined to deliver at Presby. But just had my baby here on Thanksgiving. It was my first baby in TX (other two being in Sharp Mary Birch, San Diego). Mary Birch is known as one of the best hospitals to deliver in San Diego and their service was nothing compared to what I received here. I had a repeat C-Section, and from the Dr (Dr Cindy Hartley (not my Dr since she was out of town) to Anesthesiologists Dr Hairr and Kevin Kinder, to all the Nurses (Gail, Jennifer, Sandy, Bushra, Julie, Amber, Bindu) to Nursery (Emily, Lori, Annette) and Lactation (Kelley, Shari) were nothing but exceptional. Anything I asked for was promptly given to me and I always felt I was their top priority. Both my husband and I were so pleased with their services, and cannot stop talking about our experience to friends and family! Thank you so much for making our experience so memorable!
I ended up visiting this hospital late yesterday evening. I came in contact with some of the Most hospitable, very friendly and down to earth staff members including the doctor on duty (Dr.Vaughn). How did I get here, You ask? Well my youngest is pregnant with my second glam kid...our first glam baby went on to be with the lord during the most devastating year of all history for me, my family, and the world last year with COVID-19.My daughter was complaining of cramping pains that were low and behold actual contractions. When I got there she was already on the table of the OB Emergency Unit. I ended up rushing to get to my daughter without getting her hospital bag and mine but I did remember to grab my glam-babies bag lol...smdh.Dee, and Erin (Both Labor and Delivery Nurses) were the bomb. They had a hard time getting an I.V. in my daughter but we were prepared because her veins aren't the best kinda like her moms. Overall they were able to STOP the contractions. Hallelujah!! I am so Thankful our newest edition is still growing in the womb , she's trying to hatch and come early though but we gotta hold on just a tad bit longer. Lastly after exiting we ran into this young man in the E.R. I thought he was sitting my pregnant daughter told me, No mom He sleeping. He was so discombobulated when we were asking him questions till it was kinda scary and funny at the same time. Thank god he's only at the E.R. entrance desks and not really looking after anyone's care he was terrible. Overall the Ladies in this OB E.R. Unit were the BOMB Digady...can't wait to return for the main event when my nook nook arrives.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
