I have suffered for years with bladder infections, and just had to live with taking over the counter meds. My new Doctor in Carrollton referred me to Dr. Lightfoot, and she had a plan that works. Comparing this to my specialist in Florida, who asked me on my second follow-up visit "why I was there because tests showed there was nothing wrong," Dr Lightfoot's care for me has been a blessing.

This doctor is great for routine checkups, and basic urine labs, but if you have a mystery illness and need someone to be invested in your health as if it were their own, this not the doctor. She exhibited good basic bedside manners, but was dismissive when I showed concerns in wanting to further investigate my illness. She wrote me off as an overactive bladder patient, when truly it was an deeper issue called Addisons disease which was damaging my kidneys. This issue could have been prevented had she listened to the patient. Her demeanor lacked empathy, and understanding to my ongoing bladder discomfort. I left her office with no answers to my questions and continued to retain urine for almost a year.

I have seen Dr Lightfoot for several years now. She is amazing!

Took my teen daughter here. Met with Dr Lightfoot. If there was ever a way to clone a Doctor, they should start with her. Great with my kid and insisted we contact her and not the primary if her issue ever comes back. Gave us great advice and you can tell she genuinely cares. She’s obviously is very busy but does not give you the impression she is too busy for you. Glad we found her.

NURSE & DOCTOR WERE RUDE. Dr Lightfoot was RUDE, HATEFUL came in with arms crossed and said “what’s your problem today “. They administered a sonogram. They didn’t tell me the purpose let alone what they saw! Dr Lightfoot came into exam room, checked my bladder physically. Literally THREW a BladderMatters book in my direction and gave me an Rx to try. She said if prescription doesn’t work there are many more to try before surgery. She was literally trying to run out of the exam room. I had to stand in her way to stop her long enough to ask a couple questions. Worst doctor and staff EVER. I plan to file a complaint with the appropriate medical board. If I had read all the reviews, I would have canceled before appointment and not stepped one foot in that office. I would have known Dr Lightfoot was rude, hurried to see as many patients as possible a day. DR LIGHTFOOT IS THE SECOND WORST DOCTOR I’VE EVER MET. !
