In May 2023, I set up an appointment with Texas Child Neurology to meet with my 16 year old son so that he could have a sleep study scheduled. They were not able to fit him in until July 26. Before seeing my son, they required a deposit of $50 to be paid. My son was taking his drivers license test earlier that day and it ran later than expected. We arrived at Texas Child Neurology 45 minutes late for the appointment. I apologized for being late and asked if the doctor could still see my son. The front office checked with a doctor and they refused to see my son. They told me that the doctor would refuse anyone who is more than 10 minutes late. I understand that a business cannot run properly if allowances are made for everyone who is late to an appointment. However, unforeseen things can happen and I was disappointed that we were turned away. I rescheduled for another appointment after leaving their office for September 6th. Michelle Ponse from Texas Child Neurology followed up with me requesting another $50 deposit for the doctor to see my son. She said that I was considered a ‘no show’ at the last appointment. After explaining our circumstances, she said that the doctor would still require another $50 deposit to see my son. I asked to be refunded for the prior deposit paid as I no longer wished to interact with their medical practice and was refused. I would strongly urge anyone seeking professional medical care for their child to seek a different provider than Texas Child Neurology.

So I gone before to childrens cardiologist and neurologist of plano and there all they said was for my daughter to drink Gatorade or powerade no further testing was done.While at this facility they actually did a test and they gave us a solution to the problem.Dr.Jacob actually listened to our concerns and addressed all my daughters answers if you need help come to this facility they truly value and appreciate their patient and ur not just a number.

We have been a patient for a very long time we had the earliest appointment and had to wait almost an hour just to be seen by the doctor. We have never had to wait this long before. We made an appointment early for this reason and had scheduled months in advance .

Dr. Hurd has been wonderful working with our teenage son who has a migraine disorder. We left another practice to travel to see Dr. Hurd & are so very happy that we made the switch! He is patient, a great listener with both my son & our concerns. He is wonderful at providing multiple options to treatment, explaining medication side effects & benefits. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to partner with him in the care of our son!

Dr. So is amazing! He answers all our questions, and takes the time to explain everything so well. He is the kindest doctor, and we are so happy with the care he gives our daughter. We highly recommend Dr. So and Texas Child Neurology.
