No one looks forward to colonoscopy. However, if the scheduling staff at this team is reflective of the practice, no one would ever want to go here. Three interactions with this office were so off putting that I called my referring doctor to obtain a referral to a practice that treats patients with some semblance of respect rather than a cheap cog in their surgical assembly line. I understand the practices can be busy, but that’s no excuse for the uncaring, an abrasive manner in which all of the communications from the team I encounter just trying to get my procedure scheduled came across. The first call came from somebody telling me that they were too busy to get to me and not to call them, they would call me. I almost called back my doctor at this point since I would like to have a practice, it actually makes me feel like they have time to give my care adequate attention, but I waited. The second caller quite sone time later about scheduling, After asking me repeatedly, whether I still wanted to schedule, she then told me they didn’t have time for me for at least a couple months. She then told me that she wasn’t the schedule and she would have to forward me to the scheduler. Having wasted my time screening me, she then transferred me to a voicemail for what was apparently the scheduler. The voicemail message also went to Great Plains to tell me how tremendously busy they were and then it could be sometime before they get back to us. The prediction was auspicious The third call came more than three weeks later. The scheduler called to tell me that she was now ready to reschedule my appointment. Apparently they aren’t so busy now and she was able to get me in if I still wanted to come any Wednesday this month. They must’ve had other patients that were offended by their treatment if they have so many openings all of a sudden. In any event, after speaking to this equally abrasive an offensive individual, I elected to pass on an appointment with this practice. I will be going back to my doctor to ask for a referral to a caring, respectful practice. Any surgeon or other doctors office that treats, patience or perspective patients in this way is not anyone that I would want to treat me or anyone I cared about. If you’re too busy, just don’t take referrals and let patience go to practice is that actually have time to do the work and treat patients in a respectful manner.

Dr. Odom performed robotic colon surgery on me May 2022. I was referred to him by my colon doctor who stated he was the best colon surgeon he knew. I now agree. He ensured that I understood the surgical procedure I was undergoing. His follow up was thorough & his demeanor made we feel confident I was in good hands. I can’t say enough here in this limited space about how impressed I am with Dr. Odom and the team during the entire process for my colonoscopy. Check in flowed smoothly and efficiently. The medical team was just greatness. I don’t know how much they’re paying Kerry, but its not enough. She was absolute perfection in the whole prep process. She and the rest of the team made the entire process seamless and pleasant. I’ve been through this procedure a few times over many years with Dr. Odom and I left this time with an admiration for all of them.

One of the best doctors I've ever had.

He is God. I went to ER, and there doctors told my pain was due to hemorrhoids as applying medication as given. It was going worse, and somehow I got yesterday appointment, and diagnosis outcome was abscess. Dr. Todd did a small surgery immediately, and its good now within next few hrs. Thanks Todd for your great help and valuable time.

It has been many many years but Dr. O did my hemorrhoid surgery that I needed or if they raptured I could bleed to death. His whole team did it pro bono because I didn’t have any health insurance. He was amazing, he was compassionate understanding and treated me like a family member. The hospital tried to cancel it saying it was an elective but he stood his ground and said it’s life threatening and was able to perform my surgery. Needless to say he literally save my bottom and my life. A lady who I never met paid the rest of my hospital bill as well. I’m sure Dr. O may have whispered to someone about me and my case. Thank you doctor O I’m the one who was like a chain of hemorrhoids. 😂😂😂😂😂

In 2019 Dr. Odom operated on me for Diverticulitis. He is a great surgeon as well as being a great person. He treated me with caring and dignity. I would recommend him to anyone who has any type of colon problems. He is a very kind and humble doctor. My case was pretty severe and I thank God and Dr. Odom for my quick recovery after surgery.

Todd is professional and skilled in his practice. He was quickly able to assess my situation and create a treatment plan for a Hemorrhoidectomy. He also identified an additional issue that had been bugging me for awhile but I never brought it up with previous doctors because I thought it wasnt important or an actual medical concern (a fissure). His staff was able to get me scheduled within 2 weeks at a surgery center that accepted my insurance that he could perform the procedures at. His staff even gave me a phone call a few days later to inform me they already got the entire procedure covered by my insurance at 100% with zero out of pocket expense. The surgery facility was a fantastic and the team got me in quickly and kept me comfortable during the entire operation. Todd came in prior to the surgery to review the process with me. Surgery went very well and he was able to see me a few days later on short notice when I had some worries after my first bowl movement.

Very thorough explanation of my upcoming procedure. He came very highly recommended, and based on his knowledge and skill, I am happy to do the same. Great bedside manners.
