Totally incompetent front office staff. They continue to insist that my insurance is out of network, despite the fact that (a) the insurance itself says it is in network and (b) their own advertising confirms this. Anyone from out of state should stay away, because they will incorrectly claim that they only accept Texas-based insurance. Then they will charge you $150 for the office visit, which you will be unable to refuse when you're there with a sick child. Good luck getting a refund - in my case they claimed they filed the insurance claim, but it never came through.
it's one simple click of a button to send the meds to the correct pharm but these guys can't manage simple things! subpar nurses doing the meds not real drs
We have taken our child here twice and both times have felt like they were responsive and knowledgeable on the issues. Happy to have a pediatric focused urgent care close to home.
First, I never leave negative feedback about any business/location. I normally just don't go back. But this time I'm mad. Wife took our daughter in on Friday because her ear was hurting. Was at visit for almost 1.5 hours and my wife asked for antibiotics, but PA wouldn't give it..now it's 48 hours later and daughter has drainage from her ear. They wouldn't call in an antibiotic, so we had to come back to the clinic, pay another $75 for this visit. We saw the nurse practitioner for about 3 minutes (after waiting almost 2 hours), and she said we should probably get started on an antibiotic. You think? So basically they: 1. wasted 2 days that my daughter could have been taking antibiotics and on her way to feeling better 2. they wasted our money for a second copay 3. they wasted another 2 hours of our time because we had to go to a second visit. These were all wasted needlessly. It's not like we were trying to get hydrocodone. We just wanted an antibiotic for an ear infection, because we've seen this happen 6 or 7 times before over the last decade with our daughter and knew what was coming. Needless to say, I'm not planning on coming back
We used to really love this place. Since the new ownership, it's clear they have changed. I have now had 3 experiences where I've walked in with a sick baby & I've been turned away. If you don't actually accept walk-ins don't say you do. You'd think people who actually cared would find a way to help sick children who need medical attention. Zero stars.
They will charge you again after your visit. They can't correct the billing even you have paid completely. The front desk does not help at all. They told you to contact their billing agent. However, the phone call did not work. None can help to correct the billing. Your payment was gone to a black hole. They did not care about you.
Been here a few times. Most recently was when my daughter had strep throat and her regular pediatrician couldn't fit her in. Never a wait time. Thorough examination. & friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
Took our 3 year old here a couple weeks ago because I was convinced his allergies turned into a sinus infection (102 fever, green mucus, and cough). They tested him for covid and strep, then denied antibiotics because "it's just a bad time for allergies". They gave my son ibuprofen for the fever and told us to switch from children's Claritin to children's Zyrtec, also Zyrtec has to build up in the system. So I waited for the Zyrtec to build up in his system with no relied to any of his symptoms. His fever came back full force so I took him to his regular pediatrician as this time it was during office hours... Took him no time to figure out it was a Sinus infection AND ear infection. We were prescribed amoxicillin and now he's finally starting to feel better. I understand a 3 year old is hard to handle when they're sick, but this is why we took him to a children's urgent care. This diagnoses should not have gone overlooked.
Both my children came to this location as walk ins for rapid Covid testing. Ours was not as expensive as the recent negative review so it likely depends on your insurance policy. They were both seen fairly quickly as walk ins during a very busy time. The staff were all so nice and patiently answered all of our questions!
I sent my teenage daughter here for covid testing after speaking to the office manager, Andrea. I clearly explained she did not want a full visit but simply a Covid test and so she would be a walk in. After my daughter sat and waited for an hour she received a "full exam" and the rapid Covid test. She then was stuck with a $205 bill that they claimed was after insurance. Go to Mount Sinai urgent care at Preston and Frankford, or other urgent cares in order to get tested. Don't waste your money or time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
