My family always had great lens prescriptions from Dr. Patel. He is very thorough, gentle and kind. His staff has always been wonderful to work with.

Staff is insensitive and rude. I was very upset over the perifrial test I had to do with my mask on. The girl was already very flippant and rude then I asked her if I could forgo the mask and she just became defensive. I do not mind wearing it but my face was squished in a machine which made it claustrophobic as it is. I ended of wearing it having no choice. The doctor was meh. She rushed me through. There was no explanation. I miss my prior opthamologist. Was not impressed. Then on my way out, the front desk was rude. I was looking forward to the appointment hoping I would get some answers but left very upset. Don't recommend at all

IN RE: IMPROPER PRESCRIPTIONOn 9/28/2020, I had an eye exam with Dr. Leslie R. Dullnig, O.D., License No.2285T, and I fear that I may not be the only person in who he wrote the wrong prescription too.I have double-vision, horizontal and vertical. My first eye exam was with Dr. Rex W. Cole, MD in San Marcos, Texas.I had been in an automobile accident on 8/2/1978, which caused the double-vision.Dr. Cole told me that due to the horizontal and vertical double-vision no surgery would work. He told me that he could give me prisms that could help, but not correct.I went to Dr. Cole for many years, and to this day I have never had any problems (he has retired).The prisms may have done something good for my eyes because, I can't remember for certain, but five or so years ago, Dr. Cole had recommended that I go and see Dr. Busse, MD in Austin (I think his first name is Franklin, but I can't remember).Dr. Busse usually only deals with children, but Dr. Cole asked him to see me and after a thorough examination, horizontal he operated on my eyes.I don't know all that Dr. Busse did, aside from straitening them out (one was much higher than the other), but even though I still had horizonal and vertical double-vision, I had visi,on that I couldn't have imagined. And with prisms it was incredible.Years later, my glasses were pretty old and after the surgery I didn't think that I needed to see Dr. Cole, so I went to Dr. Leslie R. Dullnig, and it don't know for certain, but it appears that he gave me the same prescription Dr. Busse had given me years ago.My vision was still good so I didn't complain because the problem was with the glasses. On 9/28/2020, I needed new glasses again because the lenses were scratched up so I went back to Dr. Dullnig again.After I got my new glasses, I tried to call Eye Associates of South Texas in Seguin (that was who contacted me when my glasses were ready) because my vision was horrible and Dr. Leslie R. Dullnig works for them now. Since I couldn't get a hold of them, I wrote them a letter on 12/16/2020, but I never heard back from them.Finally, I couldn't deal with the glasses, so I went to Walmart to get another pair before the prescription ran out and they told me that Dr. Dullnig had only put prisms in one eye. The glasses I had gotten from Dr. Dullnig were bad, always fogging up for no reason, the tint was to dark, and the bifocal was in the wrong place, but the primary problem was the prescription, not the glasses.The next day, 8/31/2021, I went and saw Dr. Lauren Meinke, O.D. and after a thorough examination, like Dr. Cole used to give me, she prescribed horizon and vertical prisms in one eye, and horizontal prisms in the other eye. My vision is once again fantastic, probably as perfect as they can be with double-vision.Dr. Leslie Dullnig has an office in San Marcos and Blanco. There are many elderly people that live in Blanco so I am truly worried about what type of prescription he is giving out.

Wife and daughter saw this guy for several years. Okay but he began pushing "snake oil" services that didn't work. He got very upset when I asked questions. About a thousand down the drain. Been trying to get a hold of him through the number posted. Message on his service is at lest 2 years old. Can't leave message as the mailbox full and been trying for a week. Looks like he skipped town.Customers trying to get a hold of him for a while told by several companies.good ridence

I was sent to Dr. Patel by the VA; my prescription was wrong but they refused to fix it. I have a pair of glasses that I can't even wear. Customer service was awful and I wouldn't recommend going here.

Dr. Patel is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The staff is also friendly and good when working out issues with booking and sending reminders. I have seen Dr. Patel for years and love the new facility!!
