Dr does nor have any confidence in her own decisons. She lets a pharmacist influence her decisions. Obviously patients needs don't matter to her.
This has been the most expensive, careless drs office I have ever been to. The first office visit, all I got was attitude. This was from the office workers and the dr herself. I was charged $250 to get a computer test. That she sat at, read me the questions, and diagnosed me off of that. After around a year, I needed a second job accommodation. I sent 4 emails, was told the dr would fill it out, so I called to check. No one responded to me over email, no one called me. The dr left a note that I needed to come in and see her. Why??? So she can charge me another 250 for a computer test??? But what really grinds my gears, is the lack of respect she has for me, as her patient. It’s irresponsible and unprofessional. No contact, at all. I won’t ever go see this dr again. Update - they leave a response that they want to fix it, but I have not heard anything from them. Unprofessional as always. Please do no go to this Dr. She is quite rude. Same as the office staff. Update 10/19 I still have not received a call about this issue. They are not "sorry"
I’ve been coming to Kelsey for years and out of all the Doctors I’ve seen Dr.Pettiford has been the worst. She was very rude during my video visit. She didn’t even say hello, wasn’t even speaking to me directly. I was very unhappy with the visit. I definitely won’t seeing her again. She made the whole visit very awkward, she also left me waiting for a whole hour for her to show up on the video call. She shouldn’t be a doctor if she doesn’t care about her patients.
I went to see this doctor for a first time visit. I felt very uncomfortable as soon as I met her. Her nails were dirty and were covered in chipped nail polish. It was very unprofessional. At the time of this visit, she asked me over 20 questions about my history, and then only checked my heart beat and my lungs. I informed her that I was not feeling well with a severe sore throat. She said it was allergies and to take claritin and an antihistamine. I informed her I already take those medications daily, and they are not working. I asked her to please check my throat and nose. She said there was no need. I asked her to me a strep test. She said, "I don't even know if we have any of those here." Then she turned around, and all of a sudden there was a jar full of them. Then she did the strep test, informing me the results will be available in a few hours. I never heard back from the office regarding my visit. So, I called 4 hours later to find out my result. It was negative. I called a few days later informing the nurse that my symptoms have worsened. Post nasal drip, coughing, and congestion had developed. The nurse informed me she would let the doctor know and call me back. Instead, I receive a phone call from my pharmacy informing me they have a prescription ready. It was generic flonase. A prescription I already informed her I was taking. I called again on Wednesday, November 24th, informing the nurse my symptoms have developed into a dark green discharge and were severe. She let me know she would let the doctor know and call me back. Again, I received a phone call from my pharmacy informing me there was a prescription for generic zyrtec. A perscription I was already taking, and the doctor knew I was already taking. On Tuesday, November 30th, I called Kelsey Seybold to see if another doctor to see me, as my symptoms have not let up and are still severe. The only doctor available was Pettiford, but I let the nurse know I would not see her due to the reasons above. I let the appointment setter know I would be filing a formal complaint against her for failure to treat me properly. Then, after I already received a prescription from a teledoc through my insurance, I receive a phone call from Pettiford's nurse informing me she had called in Augmenten for me. I let her know it's too late since she didn't want to treat me a week ago when I called.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
