List of Anitha Ezekiel's Reviews
Called Monday to see if it was possible to get a COVID test set up for Saturday as my son's school required testing to be able to go back to school on Monday. I was told I have to make appointment same day and to wake up a 8am to check in online. I did just that and signed up for the 7:30pm slot. I got a call a 3:00pm and was told that they only test sick patients. Why was I not told that on Monday when I told called and told them my situation. So now I'm SOL. Thanks Cooks Children.
Since November 2021 we i’ve been three times with her three-year-old for various issues like sinus infections ear infections. The level of care that we received has been wonderful, from checking in to getting vitals done, seen an actual doctor and even the PA, we have had really good experiences. My daughter hates going to see any doctor who is not her regular doctor however she doesn’t mind going to urgent care here. When she was younger we previously took her to another urgent care and had horrible care when she was about eight months old. I would not hesitate to take a child at any age here.
Dr Thomas Atkins was amazing I 100% recommend going and seeing him for any medical needs
The whole staff today was so awesome and caring and sweet. The wait time was longer than any other time we've had to come here, but the attitudes of the staff were of kindness and concern for my daughter. Mr Tom was so wonderful and amazing with my daughter and me. I really appreciated the level of care and love we received today. I'm so glad this is an option when our normal pedi isn't available.
Forced my child to wear a mask when he refused several times because he had a running nose. When the doctor walked in and saw him not wearing a face shield he made him put it on, then immediately walked up to him and took it off him. I understand COVID policy but telling my kid to put it on or don't get treatment is outrageous. Completely unethical to refuse treatment to child!Update: upon reviewing the notes they sent home with me I noticed the "Doctor" they said they were sending in to examine my child is actually not a medical doctor. He is a nurse practioner. So on top of not wanting to treat him, they lied to me when they said the "Dr will be with you shortly".If they would lie about this then it makes me question the diagnosis they gave me child. If my child's condition gets worse I will be going somewhere else and speaking with a lawyer. Worst experience with a medical facility and "leadership" should be ashamed.
I will leave a Zero if there's one available--Not about the doctor, but the front desk. The new system require us to log in with the phone before came inside, My wife did it through her phone but cannot make it throw, I tried my as well and when it finally shows we are in the waiting list, the front desk told us we are 1 minute overdue and we cannot keep our schedule. Very bad experience on the customer service that I have experienced today
Waited over 3 hours with a 21 month old who was sent for a probable broken foot. There were 3 of us with the toddler and both parents were the only ones going back to see the DR. The 3rd adult was then told (after waiting over 3 hours in the waiting room) they would need to sit in the car due to covid. Ummmm no.Will NEVER EVER visit this clinic again and spend money to be treated rudely.
My one star isn’t directly at the location nor the staff in the front desk. They were all amazing. The Dr however who treated my daughter had no bedside manners and tried to guilt trip me into having my 13 month old get a catheter to check for a uti when I had concerns for an ear infection. When I declined she told me I was causing my baby permanent damage and possibly death. Then when she went to get my discharge papers. She proceeded to talk about me to the nurses outside the door when I could clearly hear. Therefore because of this dr. Dr Lauren whatever her name was , I will not be returning here at all. My daughter is fine she’s just teething bad.
Avoid this place if you can and go to any of the other area urgent cares. We waited an hour and a half after our scheduled appointment in the waiting room and then were told they “somehow didn’t check us in all the way or something” and so never called our name. They also told me their system doesn’t work to pull the names to be called back to see the doctor right so they were all out of order and that’s how we got skipped. Either way, wildly ineffective system and terrible sitting there for that long with a sick child while people who came after you without an appointment were seen before you. Waited an additional 45 minutes in the room only to be told they don’t do flu tests anymore.
Dr. Radimecky is fantastic. He has the sweetest, kindest soul and you can tell how much he enjoys caring for kiddos. We’ve been to urgent care twice and always have great experiences. Love having Cook Children’s in Prosper!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
