I showed up to the er for 10 hours never made it to a room. Left with a needle in my arm and had to have TMF take it out next door. I get billed 7600 for a ekg bloodwork and a chest x ray. Do not ever go to this place. It’s a complete rip off. I have a case opened with the state. They will audit them and hopefully fine then with a huge fine for false billing

We went to the ER from out of town and had the absolutely best experience I’ve ever had at an ER. Joe the PA, RN Sam, RN Macie, RN Cambri and LVN Tonya made our day. They were the best! We were in and out in a short amount of time. They went above and beyond for us!!! They accomplished something in less than an hour that I had been trying to get anyone else to fix for 1.5 months for my disabled brother. Amazing!!

I am currently at UT Health, Athens ER with my brother. It is now 10:23 PM. We have been here since approximately 4:30 Pm. I have no more knowledge right now than I did at 4:30. They have done an X-ray, blood work and EKG. They did a CT scan of his stomach well over an hour ago. No one communicates with us. What little info we might get is because I went to them. They don’t come in to let us know what the status of any testing is and/or what the delays are. I can go to Trinity Mother Francis get an X-ray, blood work, UA, even an MRI and have the results by the time I get home from Tyler. There is something wrong here. It is now 10:30PM, 6 hours of sitting here waiting. Now, I will have to drive him home and then drive myself home in the middle of the night and we are both in our seventy’s. I can’t think of any excuse for this delay and the staff needs to communicate better. BTW - it is now 10:37 PM, still no word Linda King riverrocky.king@gmail.com
